man this is like hitting every single beat for crappy cheap kids CGI movie based off a video game or old cartoon you could ask for, set int he real world, human side kick, campy villain alongside "normal" military people, nightmare fuel CGI character, it's to the point I'm starting to wonder if it's intentional

Sonic looks better than that supposed leaked image a while back. I don't know what more you could do. I kind of like that they tried to give him quills like an actual hedgehog but still kept him close to the modern Sonic design that everyone loves.

I tend to prefer stories where Sonic is in his own universe with other furries like Tails, Knuckles, and others, but if he's coming to our world I guess this is a decent way to do it. At least they didn't pair him with a bunch of kids like a pokemon movie.

He's voiced by Ben Schwartz aka Jean-Ralphio from Parks and Recreation.

The movie is a... strong no for me, that Sonic's about to give a whole generation nightmares. Their kids are gonna get nightmares too.

I liked Jim Carey in this trailer. The problem is no ones gonna think Sonic looks cool or cute. So iono wtf they were going for and they landed on creepy. Also the plot sounded dumb af even for A sonic movie. Which iono if sonic even had a plot. I remember playing them ON Sega as a kid and think there was a fast blue hedgehog and some creepy overweight bald guy wanted to kill him.... the end.

Jim Carrey's character seems annoying even for a Jim Carrey character to me.

Sonic's design gives me some serious Myers at Cat in the Hat vibes as well.

Really, the whole thing feels like somebody was a big fan of the Street Fighter, Double Dragon, and Mario movies and wanted to do something similar, a videogame movie that gets almost everything wrong. Honestly, I like those movies, but this movie feels ... off in a way even they weren't.

I like the Paramount logo joke. Rings where the stars usually are. And Sonic does display his famous spin dash and super speed. But I agree with those of you who dislike Sonic's character model.
