As far as the Sega Cinematic Universe goes...I wonder if they'll work it in that Sonic gets a cameo per movie? It would be weird him suddenly being there in, say, Virtua Fighter, but if its a blink and you miss it cameo, could work.

For the sequel I would love if they used more of the music from the games. One of the unique things about adapting video games is that it already has a built in soundtrack. As to why film makers never want to make use of it I'll never know. This film used "Friends" from Sonic Mania in the opening and a piano rendition of the Green Hill zone never the end. I need more game music from these movies.

#1 two weekends in a row, and beating out a Harrison Ford flick that got good buzz? Yes it was neck and neck from the sound of it, but Sonic still did it.

Took my little sister to see it over the weekend and we both enjoyed it immensely, with her being 13 and me having played the games since the beginning I feel we were the key demographic.. Honestly when they first announced a live action adaptation I was iffy to put it mildly, Sonic's initial design didn't help, but I'm glad I was proven wrong in a big. This is certainly a big win for the Blue Blur and now Sonic has something that Mario doesn't. Also I'd like IDW and Marvel to get together and make a comic featuring Sonic and Cyclops taking some Eggman built Sentinels.

From the looks of it Sonic was #1 at the box office three weekends in a row...internationally. Domestically, it was bumped to #2 thanks to The Invisible Man.

Just saw it, probaly my favorite Vdieo game movie. Wasnt great but the things it did well it did really well.
