Not...really all that impressive a name compared to "Forever Evil."
So unthinkable we did it a few years ago in Forever Evil and a few years before that in Final Crisis.
The villains winning isn't new, it's Didio's default move when he gets bored. Come on, now.
"The unthinkable becomes reality as the villains win." (fixed the typo)
LOL
They've been winning for quite a while now...

I think I find it more interesting than Forever Evil because there is really more factions of villains here, with distinct agendas, which are being seeded in advance, over the Crime Syndicate conquering the world and then some villains deciding that they just won't bend the knee to them. It isn't really knew, but the blend of cosmic and more mundane villainy really appeals to me.
Let me guess . . .
Barbatos and the Dark Multiverse are back to finish what they started.

Who is that in the middle with the red eyes? Perhaps it's "Lez Luthor." (from the article: In July, “The Offer” has Lez Luthor begins upgrading the world’s deadliest evildoers) I think DC might get in trouble with that name, but they do what they want...
So the event is about Didi- I mean the villains winning.
My name is Wally West. I"m the fastest man alive. I"m the Flash.

At least some of the writers will get to write about their actual favorite characters now.
I'd hope that when this fails, it would be the last straw for some people at DC, but I know it won't be. Almost amazing how fast they've turned everything to crap again.
It seems like the universe will remain in what I consider fillers for some time, then. This seems terrible, if it lasts too much (which I bet it will).
Rightly or wrongly my impression is DC events never seem to have a "big idea" behind them like classic sci fi does. Man's greed, or fear of the "other", unchecked power, master of puppets, even when you win you lose or what have you.
