I didn't realize 'Trains in Spaaaace' was such a common trope.

Yesterday I was looking all over the place to find an image that wasn't a thumbnail. But then I saw you beat me to it and the wind went out of my sails

I spent last Wednesday morning looking for a Judge Dredd cover only to have Greg Hatcher post one before me. This is an enlargement of a screen shot since the pic I found was a little small.

I did find one larger image on eBay but by that time you posted yours. Have to be fast to get the good ones!

    Cover by Dave Wachter

I always liked ghost stories about trains. Stephen Kings "Sometimes They Come Back" is one that comes to mind. There's some legends across the country and in Canada about trains, or a sub category of haunted train tunnels, like in the abandoned town of Moonville, Ohio

Would Iron Maiden like to stay forever on That Hell-Bound Train?
«Speaking generally, it is because of the desire of the tragic poets for the marvellous that so varied and inconsistent an account of Medea has been given out» (Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History [4.56.1])
