Default Riders of Rohan vs Dothraki Horde

Riders of Rohan vs Dothraki Horde.

Assume 10,000 of each on a great, open field.

    Fight #1: Book versions.

    Fight #2: Film versions.

Answer for either or both, if there's even any difference.

Bonus question: what soundtrack should we play while we watch the battle?

I would give a decent edge to the Rohirim, for the reason that they are heavy cavalry going against light cavalry here. If the numbers weren't equal, and were instead the force dispositions we see in the respective media, the Dothraki could take this thanks to numbers, but even-steven? No chance - riders in plate and chain are going to slaughter riders in cloth and leather.

To answer the bonus question, Chocobo Wipeout should be the soundtrack.

Pretty much agreed. Although in regards to the live-action versions, what difference if any at all do you all think the Doth-Raki archers may make? With equal numbers, could the Doth Raki having archers give them any type of significant advantage?
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!

They had to do this bizarre saddle-surfing maneuver in order to set up their bows:

The Rohirrim also had horse-archers, but they loosed the arrows while seated in their stirrups. I'd wager they'd be faster on the draw with the added benefit of having better armour.
