Everybody I spoke to on Twitter was hoping/expecting for some kind of subversion. Marvel is so bad at reading the room. It's just like with Gold where Guggs was forcing Kittylossus from page 1 with his creepy demeanor and everyone thought it was on purpose because it was so dumb and unwanted.
