I don't think she was jailbait in the Uncanny disassembled run, she looked like an adult there, and even had a leadership role. But I did notice that Jean, Kitty, and Elizabeth are all getting drawn as if they were teenagers in AoXM. I think Elizabeth is getting the worst but Kitty and Jean are a close second being drawn like jailbait.

My head canon is that she actually lost it to Rachel, but that's just my belief that they were originally intended to be a couple. Poor Marvel, they were scared to make it obvious in X-Men The End, but Kitty obviously had Rachel staying with her and they were raising a daughter together.

The fact that they on-panel retconned that so she'd have her thirsty teen virginity back only so that she could lose it "properly" through Colossus' big dick energy ("YOU did that") really sums up writers' weird romantic/sexual obsessions with her.
