"Alan" is also Tony Stark, Hyperion, Captain America, Luke Cage, and Thor among others. I'm almost positive the director is also Wolverine.

I feel like these panels need to be added to that Greg Land gif of him reusing the same porn poses. How he still has a job I have no idea.

Mostly because he can at least get s*** out on time, which is pretty important in the comic book industry. Lots of better artists, but a lot of them can't handle a monthly grind all that well, which is why you see so many fill-ins in recent years.

    The preview looks cool.
Story wise the previous issue was great, and Greg Land illustrations are quite cool in this limited series. He have a interesting art style in his cinematic angles of the action scenes. So i think Land was a great choice to be the artist of this Limited series.
Looking forward to get my copy.

... what could mysterio possibly hope to do against symbiote-spidey?

The first issue felt more like the typical story of watching the life of Peter Parker as he got caught up in stuff happening, this issue was all focused on the Mysterio plot and a little slow at that. Not bad, by todays standards rather typical, but I hope it gets back to making this limited series feel more like it could have been any 5 issues from an old fashioned run.

Too bad about the actor/enforcer they introduced here...would have been nice to see him carry over into present day canon the way Clash did in Learning to Crawl.

I was sure he was gonna turn out to be Slate, the guy from Peter David's Scarlet Spider series, but barring a surprise in the next issue, it sure doesn't look like it.

You know?, I can't stop thinking about what "hidden stories" could we have during the time Spidey had the symbiote. I had an idea taken from the adventures of Eddie Brock as Venom:
+ At some point, Black Cat is wounded, the symbiote bonds with her to save her life and becomes something we could call "the Black Spider".
+ Just like the symbiote did with Eddie and Anne, maybe the symbiote also got Black Cat pregnant with Peter's DNA. That would make Peter and Felicia had a hidden kid.
+ I think the symbiotes can copy traces from one host into another, so how it could be if MJ get possessed by the symbiote and the creature give her some qualities from Felicia?

Hmm, the first one we saw in the Web of Shadows video game, though it would be cool if it were to become comics canon. Come to think of it, there was a Poison Black Cat seen in Venomized by Cullen Bunn, so there might well be precedent within the comics for a symbiote-possessed Black Cat. The second one would be an interesting development, especially in light of the plot for the first third of the PS4 Spider-Man game's DLC. The third . . . best of both worlds, anyone?

Finally got my copy and read it.
Great chapter of this limited series. This chapter was just about Spider-Man,so i did miss the characterisation of the suporting cast from the previous story of Aunt May and Black Cat but even so the action packed story made it up for that. The art was cool as well.
Looking forward to see the role of Kingpin,Electro and Black Cat for the next issue.
