I'd prefer just the adult Titans, but I'd be fine with this as well. I think the association with the "Teen" aspect needs to be dropped altogether for Dick's generation, and they should be the only group called "Titans." Damian's gen should have something else, like Tim's has YJ

Yeah, but compared to all the other crap that has happened since, that's fairly minor.
If the acclaimed writer of Deathstroke and Black Panther hypothetically wanted to write the Titans, it'd be wise not to tell him no because that property cannot afford to turn him down. They're in the shit and have been for a while.

Priest rehabilitated everything associated with the Slade corner of the Titans universe (Wintergreen, Adeline, Terra, Rose, Jericho, etc, it almost all originated in NTT and/or Wolfman), the other neglected supporting characters and villains could use the same treatment that they never get in these half assed reunions.
