Hachette has three Absolute Carnage companion tpbs with "Classified" titles and descriptions. I'm kind of leaning towards the big announcement being how Miles fits into that story. Of course, I'm making this guess just a short time before most people read the FCBD issue, so it could easily be found to be nothing like that in less than a minute . . .

The miles and peter story was a lot of fun. Something that was definitely needed after the Absolute Carnage story.

Really enjoyed the FCBD stort with Peter and Miles! Just a ice quick and simple story for them both. Taylor proves once more that he CAN understand Spider-Man and Peter.

I thought Peter and Miles had a much better dynamic here then compared to other interpretations (Cough)Marvel's Spider-Man cartoon(Cough).

I thought Peter and Miles had a much better dynamic here then compared to other interpretations (Cough)Marvel's Spider-Man cartoon(Cough).

Definitely a pallet cleanser, if not a story showing the two of them being involved in the Absolute Carnage arc. I'm just hoping that Cory Smith draws FNSM, because his artwork was gorgeous here!!!
