    Cool Jonathan Hickman's Post-House of X/Powers of 10 Book(s)

    Oh? Oh!

    Buckle up!

    Stay hydrated!

    Eat a salad!

    Long-Hickman style plans are forthcoming, babies!

    What could it be!? A book? A couple books? Every book!?

    Will Black Swan join the X-Men?

    Is Victor Von Doom the third Summers brother?

    Whatever happened to that displaced Logan and Sue Storm during Age of Ultron--crap, wrong architect!

    Promised that Hickman has long term plans, and this won't be the same old thing that's come before.

    Tom Brevoort

    @TomBrevoort
    I think it almost goes without saying, but the stuff @JHickman is planning with the X-Men is going to revolutionize everything you think you know about those characters and that series. It’s like Secret Wars turned up to 11.

    @TomBrevoort
    Long Hickman-style plan. More info forthcoming.

    Sounds promising, now we only have to hope that Hickman can deliver and that enough of the readership is onboard to keep it running as long as planned.

    Yes, please! I think it was clear from the beginning that it wouldn't be just HOX/POX and there would be Hickman-penned ongoing/s after, but it's nice to see it confirmed.

    I prefer to keep the excitement until I have more information. I have been deceived many times but as a reader and fan I always have hope.

    It might be great, and it might not. From what I've seen Hickman tends to center on caucasian men and the women are secondary. Case in point - Previews show men in new or modified costume designs but Jean is thrown back to that awful mini skirt costume (Not a favorite look judging by a number of comments)

    Why am I worried that things might change so much that I'm not going to like the X-Men anymore, just like they changed after House of M and I lost interest for several years. I'll reserve judgement until after the upcoming mini.

    Yay. And while there's riffing on Hickman's Avengers run, clearly there should be an expanded ultimate X-Men team that goes out to space to beat up evil aliens and in the process get planets to call themselves "X-Worlds".

    I'd reserve that kinda book for Al Ewing.

    Sunspot, Falcon, Black Panther... there were several non-caucasians in his Avengers World team.
