America exists because of crime. anyways, those kids don't just lose a parent. they lose their reality. they lose the structure of family. can you imagine one of your parents being outed as a gangster and being killed all at once? then the feds seize your home and finances. child protective services might even step in. and the cycle begins anew.
Frank doesn't even treat all bad guys equally. If you can prove your worth to him, he might keep you alive. If he likes you, he keeps you alive. He goes after people who are easy or who he doesn't have a personally relationship with.
Diablo is going to come back, you can be sure of that if he hasn't already. He has a form of immortality from a bargain he made with Mephisto back in the Middle Ages. As for Cassie's death, it is a stretch to call it murder since she died in battle against Doom, which was about a dozen or so to one. She struck at him when she thought her father was dead and Doom returned the blow while falling backwards. It was a strike made in self defense so it is a stretch to call it murder. And he did bring her back after all. As for the biographer in Books of Doom, her fate is unknown. Boris was her jailer and for all we know the prisoners could have been set free by General Karadick when he took over.
it's a stretch to call it a battle. add god-level power to the mix and it becomes an act of cruelty. keep in mind that he used less force against her father. not even sure what point your making in that last sentence. doesn't make Doom seem less villainous; that's for sure.
his words suggest that he didn't consider himself to be in mortal danger. next you'll say that he didn't know his own strength. so the post below will damn him with his own thoughts.

"cold blooded murder"
His own words show that when he struck back he was just pushing her away. It would be different if he had said, "Now die you meddling brat"
And those aren't Doom's thoughts in that Avengers World story. Obviously it is the narrator/writer describing the scene. And for this case "cold blooded murder" doesn't fit the narrative of the panel where Cassie is on top of Doom and he warns her to "rein in her tantrum" BEFORE he loses his temper. No one on the scene that day even realized she was dealt a mortal blow until the fight was over. They were all standing around talking about whether or not they should they should do anything about it. And they didn't pursue Doom
.
In many ways Frank Castle is a better hero than your average Cape. He tries to do something to solve the whole super-powered killer thing besides putting them in a box and waiting for them to break out yet again.
Maybe you're typical Thor, Iron-Man, Captain Marvel is okay with the piles of dead civilians as long as they can stand on top of them, in sunlight and public adoration?
Just a thought.
