Rank the MCU movies in order from favorite to least favorite.

I've enjoyed all of the MCU films, to varying degrees. I'm going off memory, because I've only re-watched 4 or 5 of them.

Fun but not great:
22. The Incredible Hulk (Ang Lee's film is flawed but more interesting, and my go-to Hulk origin - plus Eric Bana looks more like Mark Ruffalo haha!)
21. Thor: The Dark World
20. Captain Marvel
19. Iron Man 2 (love the briefcase suit up scene)

Fun and pretty good:
18. Avengers: Infinity War
17. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
16. Avengers: Age of Ultron
15. Ant-Man and the Wasp
14. Thor: Ragnarok (a bit tonally off for me - also, the thing that bothers me the most in the MCU is Thor not showing any reaction to the death of the Warriors 3)

Iron Man (people say RDJ gave the character humor, but I say check those Micheline/Layton back-issues, because Tony's humor has been well-established since at least the late 70's - I will say RDJ gave the character snark and a bit of a manic personality - his performance as Tony is one of the best of his career)

They don't go specifically to the Warrior's 3 but I'm sure he has mourned them as his depression state in Endgame lets us see.

I get that, and I appreciate that. However, personally I think that mourning needs to be explicitly acknowledged by Thor at some point - he doesn't have to go on about it, but I'd love if he addressed it.

Me too and I would expect that in a solo movie (Thor 4) he would.

JMO if Sif makes an appearance in a Thor 4 definitely if she doesn't 50/50 at best chance they get mentioned.

He does have a fantastic musical theme, but I would argue not the only one with a memorable theme.

Michael Giacchino (who composed the score for strange) also wrote a very memorable theme for Spider-Man as well.

Alan Silvestri composed a fantastic theme for Captain America, that has been hinted in other films. It’s a shame that Jackman was brought on as composer in the rest of The Captain America films as his scores for Winter Solider & Civil War are extremely forgetable and bland.

Brian Tyler composed a very fun theme for Iron Man in the third film, but since that film is lower on most lists it does tend to be forgotten.

Let’s not forget the score to Black Panther either, which won an Oscar and gave a very distinct sound to Wakanda and T’Challa.

That scene near the end where he's descending from the heavens to the blare of Led Zeppelin on it's own was the kind of thing I never expected to see in a major blockbuster. Waititi and Gunn really transcended the workmanlike approach to MCU visuals, and it was paired with great, funny storytelling (at a time superhero movies were feeling a little self-serious, ymmv). Their distinctive directorial styles brought a sense of cool and irreverence matched with sincerity that I don't think any MCU movie had really channeled since the first Iron Man.
