    Looks great.
Looking forward to get my copy for sure. The several creative teams in this 1000 issue is actually quite impressive.
This should be a great read.

Having mulled it over for a few days, I have to admit that there are some very interesting creative teams. With 80 one-page stories I'm sure that there will be some pretty good ones with the talent they're pulling from. But with what is certainly going to be a pricey comic, it's not worth gambling on. Not from what I'm hearing anyway.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

Someone should tell Marvel that they can't actually retcon reality. I'm going to need to see those other 999 issues before I start taking this whole farce seriously. Maybe for their next trick Marvel is going to claim that #1002 is based upon a long-lost manuscript of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby with a back-up story written by the Pope.

Erm... ok then. I really couldn't care less about the numbering gimmick, but I'm interested to see how they're gonna follow-up the overall story. Hopefully that means some creative teams from the one-shot (well, I guess it's not a one-shot anymore now) will get to continue telling their story. And Ewing, of course, will probably get to expand whatever narrative he's crafting there.

Doreen made the cover! Nice. She hasn't been named the leader of the group, technically, but I think we all know she is.

More Ewing= always a great thing. Hopefully it's a continuation of the Ultimates... probably not, but I can hope. A huge space epic with all the cosmic beings would be almost as good.

Whoops. One of the variant covers can't be used - someone accidentally used art from Earth 2, a DC title, instead of Young Avengers.
