I thought that the Marvel team-up series would be used as a testing ground to see which non-Spidey created character would fit in will in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man on a reoccurring guest appearance. They never took advantage of that. Avenging Spider-Man was starting to look good until Marvel cancelled it for Superior Spider-Man Team-Up ....
