Thus, did she immediately fire the majin from her mouth along with a violent retching and enough semi digested material to make up at least 4 meals....along with several unidentified things that, in all honestly, didn't look like they belonged in their universe, let along a stomach. There also a generous helping of stomach acid with the whole mix that was sizzling against the majin katchin coating like angry bees.
"It ****!" The Mini-Majin cried, tears streaming from his face as he suddenly soared off, abandoning the battle, rushing towards the bathroom sink to hurriedly wash off...the burning.

On the opposite end of bad ideas, was headbutting a armored target with an unprotected head....despite how weak the target was compared to you. With both charging up their own unique brand of propellant power...both struck each other with fairly equal force. A blast of force shot out as the two made contact, the id letting out an yelp as she fell back from the impact and cradled her head like she just smashed it into a wall after a running charge.
The Mini-Majin started to dance mockingly, taunting the id while giving her the finger "Bobom-paku! Bopo-bambaba!" he sneered.

"Ahahahahaha!" Adult Erosa laughed maliciously, tears streaming out of her eyes as she pointed and mocked the majin...now with both maws pulling at him in opposite directions while dragging him up into the air. They still weren't biting through, but for sheer comedic value it was a sight nontheless.
The miniature Sasheem continued to panic ineffectually. "No bite! Ritti! Duroooo!"

And all the while, between all of the fighting...the rest of the Mini-Sasheems had long since reformed their whole self. But he was nowhere to be found...except very briefly. When his head phased up from beneath the Lookout's tiles and snatched up the other half of the bacon covered pastry with his teeth before sinking back down, happily chomping on his prize...

The dog stopped squeezing a moment and gave the tiny Id a sniff. "Smells like ... mom. Bleh." Explained a bit. Raised a lot of questions, but it explained a bit.

Little thing was a masochistic energy thief like Ishtar.

Was only one way around that.

"Forgive me tiny thing ... or don't. Cuz I'm going to enjoy this."

Pooling beneath the Id then, leaving her free and confused, there was a brief delay before -- the pool of shadows beneath Erosa now glowing -- a maw opened up briefly and Anubis declared rather gleefully.

    "Apophis Cannon."

    ...

    ----

There was no warning for everyone standing on the Lookout when it happened. Simply business as normal, and then all at once came the sound of a billion bees and what felt like an earthquake as Anubis' point blank cannon tore through the roof off of the hallway they were in and catapulted the Id away.

And when the dust settled, Anubis sat, smacking his lips.

"Always love it when I get to do that ... wonder if the runt made orbit."
Not exactly, through she was well on her way by the time Anubis commenting on the fact.

Twice in a row the dog had got her with the same trick, perhaps the taste of spicy shadow flesh had muddled her thinking for the time....or she would have known better and caught the dog in the act. Nevertheless, here she was.....flying fight and higher into the air on a jet of energy. The lookout grew smaller, the air grew thinner....and struggle as she might the beam was holding her fast and on one trajectory, into the cold airless space.

Did she need to breath? Actually even if she didn't.....the situation was absurd enough to without thinking about that.

Perhaps it was the panic of her situation, the sudden rush of her inner nature, or the anger she was starting to direct at the damn shadow dog.....or all three really. But like an animal being backed into a corner, with the corner in this case being the edge of the atmosphere, the id lashed out with uncontrolled fury........far far too much uncontroled fury.

She opened her mouth and let out a silent rawr, and from its recesses emerged a beam of supercharged ki.

    ---

Down below, Anubis watched the skies for several moments as the twinkle of his beam blinked out of existence far above....and for a moment all light faded from the sky.

Then there was a flash, and a new star was born in the heavens.....a star that was descended rapidly. A beam of energy that had cut his own cannon down the middle and was now falling, unobstructed, towards the lookout.

    Anubis was soaring.

He'd beaten up on a baby. Had fired his Apophis Cannon. He wasn't bored. There was an annoying girl talking to a less annoying girl -- at least when she wasn't alone with Ishtar -- a bit down the hallway, but really, there was nothing at all that could mess with ... his ...

The Wolf stopped smacking his lips, and looked up to see the sky had gone dark.

"The ****'d the sun go ?"

    Then he saw a ... a second ...

"Ah ... Aha ... Oh." Memories of a commercial he'd watched one time, by a strangely enthusiastic and portly man flashed through the Hound's head ... and his mouth echoed the catchphrase that had been seared in his memory. "That's a lotta damage ..."

Clearly though, despite the surprise and the sun bearing down to kill everyone and everything he enjoyed fucking with ... Anubis knew what he must do. So with a manic cackle the dog ascended into the heavens.

    Meanwhile ...

Walking slowly toward the Kitchen then after Zurvan departs, the Oni flipped open the book penned by Whis, and began reading.
Ishtar found herself rather interested by this book. Sure, a lot of it seemed to be rather pointed commentary about what not to do; yet the majority was certainly about things that would have been useful ... 100,000 years ago. Like this passage about alternative uses for Hakai.

    Quote Originally Posted by Whis

And in short, it seemed that in several ways, what Ishtar herself had managed with Void Energy, could be done better, with Hakai ... and curiosity ever being a weakness of the golden-eyed Oni. As she neared the Kitchen -- and the Ruination that was now descending, unawares, from the sky -- she felt compelled to try.

"So if I first transform ..." the Oni muttered, aura crackling as she shifted into her ascendant state, "and then I ..." she continued, eyes still focused on the passage in question even as she pointed toward the sky above the Lookout.

    "Hakai."

    ----

As Anubis approached the beam, he began to wonder -- whilst cackling -- if he could actually consume this ... star-thing. Let alone survive if he managed it.

    ****. ****. Shitty ****.

Yet he'd decided to pick a fight with this little bastard, and so it was mostly his fault if the planet ... and all the fun things on it, were to explode and die.

As he darted in to take a bit out of the damnable thing however, something curious happened.

First, he felt his ... uh ... his something, catch fire. Then he felt stronger than he'd ever felt ... and then, then a barrier of dark energy that smelled like 'no fun ever at all' materialized a few meters away and ... started gnawing into the energy blast.

    "What even. The ****."

Ah well, no time to consider.

With a snarl, and another cackle -- this one more of the panicked variety -- the Hound shot forward and bit down on what remained of the energy blast; only managing to swallow it whole after the energy set his face on fire.

    "BURP."

Ishtar, meanwhile, simply looked up at her handiwork and with a single nod, returned to her studies ... completely unaware of what she helped her Tulpa do. And when she finally reached the Kitchen building ?

... She walked right through the wall.

Anubis, having watched it all. Simply sighed, and returned focus on the little monstrosity that'd no doubt be returning soon.

"Come on now, tiny demon. Let's finish what I started."
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Dash's recounting of the events on Chroma left Sarada with more questions. None of the possible answers were good. On the one hand, this dissolution into madness took place over the course of several months -- likely since the attack on Turrip took place about a year ago, give or take. While that made sense as far as the people go, it shined a bad light on Meagan. To Sarada, the only two assumptions possible were that she knew of the tension and growing ire among the sides, or she didn't. If she did and left for Earth anyway, then it showed a lack of priority on her part. If she didn't, it showed a lack of attention and ignorance. Neither was good, but the latter was better.

However, the timescale in question was only an assumption. Meagan's feeling comfortable leaving Chroma for Earth a few days ago could have meant these tensions arose in her absence. Which, then, spoke ill of the Chromakai. Panic was normal when another planet's population was wiped out, especially for a population that had just suffered a decades long invasion themselves. However, to devolve into violence in mere days -- especially if these talks took place after Meagan left -- was madness. It had only been a week, at the very most.

For Sarada to properly assess what she was hearing, for once, she decided to see further into this rabbit hole. "Was Meagan unaware of the rising tensions? When did these discussions take place? We've only been gone for less than a week." It reminded her of her childhood, when every dispute was resolved by fighting. Most were mature enough to know when they were beaten, but most had to be beaten down to get the point. Perhaps letting the sides fight it out was the best. Then again, probably not.

Under the circumstances, he ought to enjoy the fruit of his labours on his own terms; the words would come with the strength to speak them. To that end, what he spoke was blunt as ever but uncharacteristically resigned.

"From what you've told me, he's had a long time to perfect his craft," Ochazuke said.

The focus of his Battle Meditation pressed, analyzing the energy makeup of the Dino Student's ki. The last time he'd been marked by scales. Had there been a deeper manifestation?

"After all, just how many generations has it been?"

True to form, Parsley dissected Rex's method. Perhaps on some instinctual level, a hunter could recognize the handiwork of another. Indeed, a Saiyan's words of support were not dispensed lightly. However, the issue remained in the very nature of the beast which yet eluded them.

"If this were a battle of wills, the consultation with this psychic ought to have sufficient," he said. Reaching over the countertop, he poured out three cups of tea. "Were it only so simple."

Charco. Rex. Though two wills vying for control could be discerned, it had become increasingly clear that it was not a matter of supplanting one for another. The two were inseparable.

"This parasite can hardly be called a creature. Look harder and you will see what Rex's spectral condition truly is," Ochazuke said. "A disease of the blood and a blight of the soul."

But assuredly, this was nothing new. Ochazuke took a silent sip of his hot brew, then turned to face Charco. "But it remains clear that he needs your strength. For what purpose?"
Ochazuke was, of course, correct. Thinking this being, Rex, was nothing more than a creature lurking within Charco was a mistake. With Observational Focus focusing her attention on the boy, Parsley peered past the depth of his outer person and gazed on the inward workings. She may not have been as in depth as the martial philosopher's, but she could still see something to give her insight into what he was talking about.

A parasite, bound not just by blood, but by the tethers of Charco's soul. As complete a symbiosis as she had ever seen. A parasite, because Charco had few benefits, while Rex had many.

"A parasite. A disease," she uttered. One that oddly only affected his lineage only, despite being able to pass from person to person with the ease of a drop of blood landing in the wrong place. She doubted he wanted to assimilate the entire human race, or he would have well on his way to doing so by then, if she was understanding correctly. This was a generational blight, after all.

    Then, what?

Praxat takes out her cellphone and texts her sisters Sraxat, Craxat, Draxat, Nraxat, and Fraxat. " Why haven't you all texted me. I'm worried about you guys," Praxat texted.

" Sorry I couldn't text your earlier Praxy. The rest of the family and I have been busying preparing for an uprising against Killrog in the Castle's Secret chamber. We also have been dealing with coming to terms with a shocking truth about Killrog's siege on the kingdom," Sraxat texted.

" Secret chamber? What Secret chamber? I know the layout of the castle, and I never herd of it having a Secret chamber," Praxat texted.

" Yeah, I didn't know either until Grandmother told, and that's not the only secret she's been keeping from the family. Ask yourself this how do you think Killrog's forces manage to break through the force field and wall that were protecting Lisia?" Sraxat texted.

" He exploited a weakness in the force field and the wall's designs." Praxat texted.

" It's not that simple. Killrog could have never gotten passed the force field and the wall on his own. Someone was helping him, and that someone was our own grandmother Araxat," Sraxat texted.

" Why, why would she help Killrog?" Praxat texted.

" She did it to get rid of Yaztoh. She sabotaged the force field and told Killrog the best way to bypass the wall. All to get rid of Yaztoh, because she couldn't do it herself," Sraxat texted.

" That's awful she allowed Killrog to siege Lisia just to get rid of Yaztoh? It's like I don't even know her," Praxat texted.

" Yeah, she's been keeping a lot of secrets from us. Such as the fact that she knew who Zykona was. She knew that Zykona wasn't really a goddess. She knew Zykona brainwashed our race," Sraxat said.

" How could she have known that Zykona had brainwashed our watch if she brainwashed herself?" Praxat texted.

" That's because unlike the rest of the family and the others living in Lisia. grandmother was never brainwashed, she was only pretending to be," Sraxat texted.

" Well, I'm glad you and the rest of the family are alright Sraxat," Praxat texted.

" I bet you miss my cooking, don't you. Especially my amazing special Zeef roast," Sraxat texted.

" Yes, I missed the taste of your Zeef roast Sraxat. Your Zeef roast is the best. I can never have enough of it," Praxat texted.

" Oh, one more thing before I go Draxat changed the color of her spots again," Sraxat texted.

" What did she change them to this time?" Praxat texted.

" She changed them to a rainbow pattern using skin dyed. Says it makes her look cool and stand out. Well, I'm off you take care Praxy," Sraxat texted.

Praxat hangs up her cellphone. ( You too Sraxat,) Praxat thought to herself. Praxat skin then turns a deep blue.

Praxat walks around the lookout. " My grandmother knew about Zykona all this time, and she was working with Killrog. I don't know what to think. I don't even know if I can trust her anymore," Praxat said.

She wanted to share this with the people, but the politicians shot her down. Sayin it was too soon an would just upset everyone."

"Meagan had no choice, she wasn't their Queen or anythin, it was their decision. The Sisters were her eyes and ears around the world, so she did know what was goin' on. As far as we could tell, all was quiet, at first. Then the rumors started 'bout, oh, a few months ago. Meagan was concerned, but, well, she had promised not to speak of it publicly. Ah think this boiled over while we were trapped on the Earth, you know with all that chaff in the air. It was bout that time a Chromakai who had been visiting the Saiyan home worlds returned with news that everythin kinda blew up. An seein as how their Guardian was unreachable, only made things worse."

"Ah think Meagan realized that it was a mistake, leavin an being trapped on Earth for so long. That was why she was insistent that Cyanna an I stay with her on Chroma. If one of us had stayed behind, maybe things wouldn't have gotten so heated. It's not like bein a Guardian comes with a training manual."

    Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!

Sasheem laughed heartily as he ate the remaining pie. Too bad that damn Saiyan stole away the other half! It was his theft, dammit! But he'll get his payback. He'll get....wait was that.

"Hey waitaminute!" Sasheem raised his hands. "Don't act like Sasheem was the only one sneakin' around..." he stated, a sweat drop falling from his head as he grabbed the empty pie tin. "Not a bad dessert, by the way, but you know Sarada also-!"

"To hell with it..." The Majin grumbled as a single foot shot forth into the air, covered in Katchin. A mighty kick to clash with the might of ROAD ROLLER PIN.

    ...Oh.

The boot struck the rounded edge as Zaofan pressed forward. As he raised the rolling pin to guard, the Chef made one crucial miscalculation:

His utensil was not one fixed design for the body spun separately from the grips. It was designed to reduce fatigue, and his eyes widened in horror as no matter how hard he clutched the handles, it did its function too well, rolling up and over and ding absolutely nothing to stop the path of the Katchin Boot!

With precise timing, Sasheem's counter glided in smoothly - effortlessly and without tack - under the heavy cylindrical surface and Zaofan felt the impact square in the face doubly so for he only continued to fall at this extreme speed.

"--mMMRoOOAAggHHH--!!!" Wind shear and compression from that mighty blow contorted his face. His eyes spun in their sockets as they widened and glazed over. The perfect knockout shot!

But though the boot went through his clumsy attempt to block it, the Martial Chef's grip was steadfast upon his tool. Sasheem's kick slid from his jaw, clipped his temple, till the outstretched Katchin leg flew past his shoulder by the mercy of slick, bloody gob.

Zaofan's arms fell slack, and the Rolling Pin in his hands found a malleable surface on the extended limb past the blunt instrument that had struck him. Reflexively, his constitution stiffened, and the rolling began aggressively!

    "Dough Rolla Da~!"

It started easy at first, more a brief push. Then Zaofan began to sweep and press, back and forth and over again to thin the substance before him to the thickness of a pasta sheet or a wonton wrapper. The teary pools of his eyes lit up and a Warm Glowing, Warming Glow fell from his sight. It swept from the heart of the battlefield, flooding beneath the overhangs and ancient temple structures of the Lookout.

As he worked the 'dough' there was a certain hush, a sensation of a wholesome, inner peace. A hazy spiritual contentment fell wherever the light touched, a healing and satisfaction, like crisp bites in summer and hot mugs in winter. Briefly there was a tranquility that was shared there to match the Forest Shrine of Barlon Bedlam himself.

The Majin was at the epicentre of it, and Zaofan continued to fall. Closer, now, chasing to the end the illuminating comfort of this task. Was this the ascended spirit of a chef, given over unknowingly to a deep, instinctive love for his craft? The gleeful dedication was shouted repeatedly through the loose tongue inside his slack jaw:

    "RORARORARORARORARORARORARORARORARORARORA-!!!"

OT: To get things moving along. Feel free to do Time Posts to events before this, obviously, but this way the main plot can move forward a bit.

    IC:

The chaos of the last day awakens to a cool and somber morning as Eva, looking better than last night, and Jinzi watch as an automated silver ship with blue highlights touches down on the Lookout. A pinnace, or shuttle, for the much larger ship in orbit.

The Galaxy Defender Class ship Coldlight, first of its class and fastest, most powerful, ship in the known cosmos. It sits in high Earth orbit, the Galaxy Police’s brand new pride and joy, and awaits their accent.

Jinzi nods, hefting a bag over his shoulder and looking at Eva.

“Jack, Anula, and Adam will be here to stay on guard, and the other mission hopefully will get back soon. I hate to leave you so short handed, but......

Eva shakes her head and smiles, face still a bit pale.

“It’s fine. They are where they need to be, and so shall you. Best of luck my friend, and be safe. Meagan will tear the Galaxy a new one if you die.”

Jinzi chuckles, and the two friends share a quick half hug before the genius heads into the smaller transport ship, ready to be taken to its mother ship high above. Eva sends out her silvery butterflies to alert all those going on the mission.

’The time has come. The ship is here at the Lookout.’

So Meagan was forced to keep her own people -- the people she had been entrusted by her predecessor to protect and guide -- in the dark by a cadre of politicians who were either corrupt, stupid, or the damning combination of both. A pity. Sarada was thankful she was the law, and didn't have a circle of idiots in power along with her. Meagan, apparently, wasn't so fortunate.

"Stupidity always breeds panic," Sarada remarked. "I hope you understand what this will likely lead to. I don't know the three front-runners, but Meagan will likely have more power than ever before. I hope she knows how to use it. Political power is not the same as just regular power. That many lives depending on you and your judgment is a lot of pressure and can go to a person's head far more easily than anyone anticipates. That's why checks and balances are key in any government."

She was thankful that she had Maiz around to keep her in check. Having someone as wise and fair as her was a blessing.
