The hounds were numerous, attacking and defending, hopping to and fro like crazed instruments of war. It seemed as if it would a nuisance to try and hunt them down one by one.

Normally. Through the Shingan, he saw Ochazuke prepare some manner of weapon from behind, and begin his attack.

Energy formed around the hand of the Nevadian, pulsing wildly in the shape of an orb as the pink hue of energy eradicated the darkness near him.

    Piercing Horn Forest!

He plunged his hand into the ground and the orb vanished from site, going into the cold floor beneath him.

Within an instant, spires of jagged energy lanced from the earth in random directions, skewering and impaling anything to be caught in its path, as the attack spread, going towards the end of the hallway like a wave of destruction.

Anything lucky enough to avoid impalement, would find its ability to move constrained greatly by the large spikes littering the battlefield, leaving them vulnerable to whatever weapon Ochazuke had unleashed.

I hope I didn't overdo it...Then again, even if somehow Charco and Erosa are sloppy enough to get hit by it, if anyone should be able to walk it off, it's those two...I hope.

Marduk looks extremely wounded, breathing heavy as he slumps to one knee, arm pulsing as magic builds up and channels into the food around him.
When the last blow fell, Zaofan cranked it so hard that he nearly lost his balance on the backswing; with a deft turn, he swivelled the spinning Katchin staff around his neck, traced a spinning flourish, until he wound down.

"A hah!" He cried, "We've got him on the ropes now!"

Deep breaths dragged through his frame. He still felt the shaking from feedback of each strike. He wouldn't have believed he bled until he saw it. What the heck is this guy made of?!

Still he felt light as ever on his feet. Though their efforts turned the tide, it was not over yet.

So it was not only the spell, but the guy himself can absorb energy! "Ishtar called him the Cannibal, but I dunno, doesn't seem to be too picky to me," he said, blinking hard. "Still, couldn't help but notice he seems to be grabbing onto anything he can."

When he opened his eyes next, a small, concentrated beam, flew straight toward Marduk's eyes. A Ruby Taiyoken fell without any force at all; but that was the entire point, to throw off his timing from seizing what Parsley had fallen upon him.

"Gao?" Erosa Avoided a particularly pointy end thanks in large point to her agility. Whatever someone had done, had just about wrecked the hallway with spikes....and provided an opportunity. Erosa fired a telepathic message to Ochazuke. "Moving forward Gao, follow when clear."

The Id expended a charge of her magcite to trigger Hunter/Killer mode mid leap, expertly weaving and bouncing around charcos spike forest and any robot lucky enough to have avoided it, or unluckly enough to have been pierced. There destination was surely up ahead....the enemy sending these monsters and continuously interrupting her mealtimes with universal destruction.

Letting him relax and throw more **** at them was not going to fly anymore, it was time to confront the big boss directly....if only to give the others time to catch up unimpeded.

The hallway erupts. Massive machine gun like fire, only loser and much, much faster echoes from Ochazuke’s stolen gun, the behemoth weapon never trained against them in time instead rips apart the hallway and the robotic hounds within. The few that escape are dealt with by Held’s energy lances and Wrosa, and within a few minutes, the hallway is clear.

All remaining hounds, and the Doctor, await behind the door down the hall.

It worked better than Ishtar had expected in the end ... but the end result was far less than she had desired. With a sharp chink, Bloodwrath cracked; only to explode not a moment later to shower both Oni in shards of demon-forged metal. And for all of the cuts and blood that now dripped from the golden-eyed Oni's body she only had one thing to say.

    "Cheh."

Fortunately however, a blade of that make was not like to stay vanished long ... and while Ishtar had intended to perhaps destroy it more permanently, this would have to do. It still left Teshub, however. With a grunt, the Oni teleported in front of Teshub and sighed. "Please send my regards to whomever it is that receives you." Powering up for a moment then, Ishtar offered Teshub as clean a death as possible.

    "Ahûm-Jaidhi."

Blizzar activates his Kinetic Overcharge for five of his last hits, increasing his power level with each of those punches.

Blizzar had finished surveying the Haggard Hull, an abandoned space station appropriated by former criminals to become a tavern of sorts. The Arcosian noted that whatever money they earned did not go into the stations upkeep. It was crawling with vermin, looking to fall apart at any second. Blizzar almost thought he might buy it off the owners hands. After all it'd be a shame to let a perfectly fine establishment go to waste.

But such thought were for another time. He had already gotten the information he needed. Snowa, an Arcosian noble was planning to launch a massive invasion across several intergalactic civilizations as a means of satiating his dreams of conquest. Needless to say, the Galaxy Police would not let it stand. Blizzar, especially. He would gladly take any chance to quash the dreams of his 'noble' kin, especially if this opportunity granted him the promotion he so desperately seeked.

As he went on his way out the door, a cloaked figure bumped into him. The Arcosian was eet to pay him no mind until...

"Blizzar? That is your name correct?" He asked.

"Speak quickly or you may never speak again..." Blizzar stated quietly, not wanting to deal with the numerous criminals who would want to immediately start to rally againsy him were his cover blown.

"I seek no quarrel. I only offer information. You have friends stationed across the stars, yes? And Ken Boshi is one, if I am not mistaken," the hooded one whispered.

"Not so much a friend anymore...but why do you ask?" Blizzar responded.

"He is in danger...an attack will occur very soon," The hooded man wheezed. "A race long thought a myth but their vanguard is coming, and his name is Jag-"

"Listen...if this is truly so important perhaps you can relay it to him yourself," Blizzar interrupted. "I've got a case of my own to solve and there are plenty more lives in danger than some bored officers station in the back end of the galaxy." Not to mention the glory he'd receive for putting an end to it, early.

"Alone they will stand no chance...but if you were to assist them, then they and your friend would survive..." the hidden man assured Blizzar.

"I'm sure Ken and the other stationed there can handle it just fine. If not, what sort of officers are they?" Blizzar shrugged, with a scoff. "I'm off to do my job now, if you don't mind. Enjoy your drink," the Arcosian stated, bidding the odd hidden man farewell.

Did Blizzar regret such an action? Considering where the outcome left him....no. But he did regret that Ken Boshi died such a miserable end, only to be denied even peace in death as he was reconstructed into some sort of subservient machine.

Perhaps the cloaked figure was an agent of the Doctor's attempting to ensure that Blizzar suffered a similar fate, perhaps not. For now, however...

Once Kenbo's sword began to glow, Blizzar released his telekinetic hold on his own wounds and instead concentrated it all on freeing the sword from the Samurai's hands.
