The Capsule transport cut through the sky at a swift clip, its yellow paint-job made it stick out among the cloudless blue. It took some doing, but after that expedition to the North Continent with Erosa, Zaofan had bee swift to use one Jinzi's loaners from way back; and while this was hardly a food run where time surely was of the essence, he had become painfully aware of a couple things during that little adventure.

In the back of an oddly empty cargo hold, Black katchin whirled swiftly in was a pattern that served him well time and again. Palm up, first position, shift right, second position, parry. Just shy of two metres, with swift swings the Martial Chef would kept many foes at a distance, but the fancy fluorish of a rehearsed routine sometimes led to bad habits.

He withdrew the staff, and sent it downwards. Ochazuke, a plain wooden dowel in his hands, guard against the opening strike, and with a pulse of Kiai compensated for the difference in material. A series of swift blows followed in sequence. 1-2. Zaofan's hands readily picked up speed as he pressed his advantages in reach to keep his martial brother at bay. 1-2-3-4. Leading from a distal point, the Turtle-Style staff was his shell, a simultaneous offense and defense.

"What's the matter? To reach me you must move to me," the martial chef grinned. Ochazuke said nothing, eyes stilled, possessed as he held his grip low. Set upon a four-foot shaft, he had his work cut out for him. Fleet of foot and longer-ranged, Zaofan had all the advantages, especially in this wide-open corridor. Guarding against his strikes was no small task. Lift from the centre, guide the force. A series of rapid-fire blows at a distance, Ochazuke nonetheless pressed forward, and everything he blocked one of the blows, with a twist, a round motion, he would pull the weapon off-line. If you're playing defense, then I'll simply have to make your efforts more difficult.

Sensing he would have to pick up the pace, Zaofan drew a deep inhale and threw a series of straight strikes, turning the single distal end of his weapon into a phalanx with Rakan Geki.

In response, Ochazuke's defense became more compact, tracing the seemingly random thrusts, and dared step forward. As he did. the formation of Zaofan's veritable legion gradually loosened. Sharp as his blows were, each blow that shot forward swung between fully-committed back to a return position, and with each successive parry, Ochazuke slowly widened the gaps between one strike to the next, until he closed the distance, shift his grip, and bound Zaofan's wrist by pressing on the round bone end and sinking downward.

"AGH! I give in!" he stammered, waving his hand around as Ochazuke broke the hold. "That Crane Kobudo system is no joke!"

The Autopilot announced its descent, and as the craft lurched, Zaofan braced himself on Bojack, while Ochazuke threw the splintered dowel into a pile of others. "Cheh."

The two of them returned to their seats at the head of the craft as the island loomed before them.

"...come to think of it, I don't think I've seen you use cold weapons before," Zaofan mused, "certainly put me on notice today."

Ochazuke quietly folded his arms over his chest, slowing his breathing from the expenditure. "These catalogued skills rise necessarily from the circumstances around them," he said, "the Turtle Monks ferried water across their backs in pairs of pails."

    "And the Cranes?"

"Farmers made into a militia, crossing swords with trowels and fence-posts," Ochazuke replied. "Given enough resolve, practically anything you get your hands on can become a weapon."

With a grunt, he knead his knuckles beneath his wrapped hands. "But I prefer not to be caught off-guard."

In a moment the Capsule Craft landed and came to a stop. Zaofan led the way, up the wild, beaten road to a familiar house over the horizon, and Ochazuke followed.

Juggling two capsules in one hand, he rapped gently on the front door.

    "Master Balon! Sorry we're late!"
Samson opens the door with a wide smile.

He pulls you both into a strong hug, then pulls back and bows to you both formally.

“I’m glad to see you both back!”

Samson looks stronger, fitter, with a bit more fire in his eyes and energy.

Saiyan babies were only carried within the mother for five months, after which they spent another four months in a healing pod to finish developing. It was an evolutionary quirk that developed because women were too anxious and impatient to wait out the full pregnancy.

“That's how it works. The pain was unimaginable.” It had only been two hours since she had went into labor. They were about to leave for training to get Parsley back into shape when they decided to stop by and see Garnish and Mais. They both had her tan complexion and a few of her features. The boy looked more like his father, whoever that was.

A nurse walked in with a hand-held scouter. It was 60% more accurate than the ones worn over the eye, but were also much more expensive, hence why they were only used in hospitals to measure babies. Garnish registered at 550, while Mais was at 400. Most newborns only registered from 20 to 90.

    “Holy shit!”

“Yes. Indeed,” she mumbled. Avoca was right; her higher power had resulted in stronger children. She couldn't – and didn't want to – imagine how powerful Sarada's and Ishtar's child would be.

“I can't wait until me and Ishtar have our kid,” Sarada chimed, as if reading her mind. “It'll be so strong!” Hidden beneath her usual bluster was a tinge of anxiety.

“It would have no reason not to be,” she responded. She patted her on the shoulder. “Let's go before someone takes our spo—”

A man barged in, red-faced and completely out of breath. “Your... Your Highness,” he choked out. “News from... from Turrip!”

    “Now what?”

He waited until he could compose himself before answering. “The Tuffles. They've somehow escaped from GP custody and returned to Turrip. There was a construction crew there helping with cleanup, along with a dozen Elites for security. They were all killed.”

The air turned tense. “How long ago was this?” Sarada inquired, tone more serious than Parsley had heard from her in a while.

“An hour ago. We received a coded message from one of the two survivors.” There appeared to be something else he wanted to say, but refrained for some reason. He swallowed nervously.

Parsley narrowed her eyes. “Who were the survivors?”

    “Your parents.”

Guar and Lettise had both gone to Turrip to help with security and with manual labor. They had been there for two weeks. Never in any of their wildest dreams did they even think that the Tuffles could make a reappearance; not after being handed over into GP custody.

Parsley felt her hand beginning to tremble.

Sarada put her hand through a wall. “I should have fucking killed them!” she snarled. “Gather our strongest fighters. We're doing this my way this time.” With that, she stormed out of the room.

Parsley was frozen to her spot. Breathing was suddenly very difficult. The air felt heavy, like smoke. Every breath scratched at her throat. I'm okay. They can't hurt me here. I'm safe.

Her knees felt like they were made of jelly. It was a herculean task just standing up, much less following her volatile sister to keep her from doing something that would set their people back decades. But, their parents... they...

Parsley knew exactly what was going to happen if Appel got her hands on them. The same humiliation and degradation that she suffered for three weeks. Three long, agonizing weeks; to the point that death was a merciful release form her pain. She and her parents weren't close, but that didn't mean she didn't care for them. I can do this. I have to move!

It was worse than Ishtar's most intense gravity well. It felt like the entire planet was chained to her leg as she tried to lift it to take one single step.

Her foot all but dragged itself forward, then pushed down to guide the next one into repetition. Step after step gradually carried her to where she wanted to go. Before she ducked out of the door, she turned and looked at her children. They deserved to meet their grandparents.

She and Sarada would make sure they did.

Her gait gradually increased over time, until she was able to jog to the point where she felt Sarada's roiling energy. She was close enough to hear what she was telling the Super Elites with her.

“...no mercy. If you see a Tuffle, turn them to ash. And if you see this woman,” she was clearly talking about Appel, “save her for me. She's coming back here for execution.”

“Your Highness, we received a new report that there's a half-breed Saiyan with the Tuffles. It seems he's helping them.”

“Tch. No surprise there. We'll hang the traitor along with that bitch when we get back.”

Parsley entered the portal area just in time to see Sarada and her team stepping on the portal platform designated for Turrip. In a flash of light, Parlsey swapped places with one of the Super Elites just in time.

The sisters and the team vanished from Vocado and instantly reappeared on Turrip on a temporary portal node, twenty miles from the hollowed out husk that remained of the Focal Point.

“Spread out. You,” she pointed to the Super Elites, “find our parents and take them back to Vocado.” She looked at Parsley and frowned. “We'll clear out these roaches together.”

    Parsley nodded shakily.

It had been nearly two years since she last stepped foot on this forsaken planet. She had never given any thought about returning, and certainly not returning in this capacity. Her worst nightmares were set in this place, in that damned cage she was kept in. Her heart skipped a beat every time she thought about it.

But, this wasn't about her. It was her parents, their parents. They weren't going to last. Because out of all the powers she was feeling, two were off the charts. Both around five million, which placed them both above herself and Sarada.

“I can feel Mom and Dad,” Sarada said suddenly. “This way!” She took off into the air, followed closely by Parsley.

Distressingly, their signatures were both close to one of the strong ones. It didn't feel right. There was something... inorganic about it. Knowing these damned Tuffles, it likely wasn't a living organism; at least not in the sense that she was.

    “There!”

Lettise was on the ground, bleeding badly. Guar was in front of her, left arm hanging by his side. He was in a defensive stance and facing off against... something. It had pale, almost pure white skin and white hair. Its power was massive.

The thing lunged at Guar, its arm shifting and molding into a skewer. Its pointed tip was inches from transpiercing him when Sarada kicked it away at the last second.

“Sarada,” he gasped in pain. “Parsley?”

The creature... thing... stood up. It moved in an inSaiyan way, like a puppet or robot. It cracked its neck and peered at the new arrivals. “Numbers disadvantage increased,” it spoke in a male voice. “Adjusting combat tactics.” It shot into the air and fired a number of pink colored energy blasts down on the Saiyans.

Sarada leaped up and let out a Roar of Defiance to block or deflect them away from them.

Parsley helped her mother to her feet. Her leg was broken and she had a deep, badly bleeding gash in her side. “Can you stand on your own?”

Lettise grunted and tried to push her away. “I can do more than that.” The moment she put pressure on her injured leg, she grunted again and would have fallen had Parsley not caught her. “D-damn freak. When I get my hands on it...”

The Super Elites hadn't arrived yet. They had two injured warriors who didn't know how to quit for their own good, and two extremely powerful and unknown enemies dead set on killing them all.

The creature floated high above them and observed how Sarada deflected his blasts. Nodding, his eyes began to flash. “Enemy technique noted. Adjusting combat tactics.” The air around it rippled and warped moments before a pitch black aura engulfed it. “Power increased substantially. Re-initiating combat maneuvers.” Like a rocket, he burst into motion, heading straight for the four Saiyans.
The Tuffle standing behind Lantro looked more than a bit nervous. He was only here because he wanted to see these Saiyan scoundrels burn for a minute before he joined the others...but then the half-Saiyan made a request of him and he supposed he could oblige....when if it meant staying a fee minutes longer than he wanted to.

Picking up the mic, he quickly calmed his nerves and bellowed, "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, BARBARIANS OF ALL AGES! LET'S GIVE A WARM VOCADO WELCOME BACK TO THE HOME TEAM!!" He shouted, a heavy emphasis on home. "INTRODUCING YOUR STARTING LINE UP! FROM THE TEST TUBE AT 5'6! HE'S SLEEK, HE'S STRONG! HE'S THE SECRET WEAPOOOOON, TEEEEEEEN!" he pointed down at the Tuffle construct below.

"AND FROM THE MED-BAY OF THE CELAIREE-STALKER!"

Lantro flew up, landing atop a building, beginning to hop back and forth in place to get his blood flowing.

"AT 7'1...THE HALF-BREED WITH THE SOLEMN CREED, LANTROOOOOOOO!"

Lantro created an orb of energy from his palm, before proceeding to spin it upon a single finger. Noting Parsley aiding Lettice, he smirked and tossed the orb of energy at them.

"THEY ARE YOUR...BANANAN LIBERATOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOORS!" The Tuffle turned to Lantro. "Was...was that good?"

"Perfect," Lantro nodded, giving a thumbs up, without so much as a glance in the Tuffle's direction. His sights were focused on the two recent arrivals. The rest of the so called royal family. "Hurry back and join the others now."

"It's him! It's the half-breed!" Guar bellowed as Lantro tossed the energy ball at them. He managed to fly out of the way, while Parsley had to help Lettise to cover.

"Tch! I'll handle this traitor." Sarada exploded into motion, flying up to Lantro at full speed. He wasn't twice as strong as she was, but there was something of a gap between them. A gap was nothing she couldn't overcome.

Her own ball of energy formed in her hand.

"I don't know what the hell that introduction was," she snarled as she approached him, "but I hope it was worth it." She pushed the energy blast into his chest. "I'm sending you straight to hell!" She detonated the blast right in both of their faces.

    ------

Parsley tossed Lettise into her father's arms. "Go! Now!"

He hesitated, but nodded and followed a nearby Super Elite that was to escort them both to the portal node. With them out of harm's way, she could focus completely on the creature floating above. It's name was apparently Teen, which was... not the most inspired of names, certainly. Beyond that, its power had just increased substantially since it gained an aura. Far stronger than her.

She gritted her teeth. Just what I needed. A fight to keep my mind busy. She roared and let her power swell. Like a golden sunrise, her Super Saiyan form shined brilliantly. She smirked. Her power had just drawn evenly with Teen's. "So," she uttered while lifting into the air, "you're the Tuffles' secret weapon, hm?"

Teen was off-put and perplexed by Lantro's sudden introduction. So much so that he nearly missed Parsley's question. "I am. I was created by Appel six years ago as part of her ploy to gain revenge against the Saiyans," he replied.

A single, ice cold bead of sweat rolled down her temple at the very mention of that name. There was a chance she was there, somewhere close. Somewhere where she could watch Parsley intently with those damned judgmental eyes. She could hear her voice; she could always hear her voice, so full of anger and hatred and insanity. To say that she wasn't mentally sound was an understatement. Appel was too far gone for mercy.

Teen was all that stood between Parsley and that fated reunion.

Like a rocket, Parsley exploded toward him. Her erupted into motion to meet her. The collision was like a crack of thunder played through a loudspeaker, with a pressure wave that shoved Super Elites away like they were nothing. Both parties were tossed from the point of impact, pinwheeling through the air.

Parsley righted herself first and made an instant beeline for Teen. She knew he could adapt nigh instantly, so she had to keep the pressure on him constantly to keep him from analyzing and adjusting. Damn machine, she mentally muttered. She caught him with a right hook, then kicked him into a dilapidated husk of a building.

The billowing cloud of dust was enough to obscure his status from her, but she could still read his energy. She charged in recklessly -- out of character, but whoever realized this would have to forgive her.

There was a pinkish-black energy net waiting for her. It tangled around her, felling her like a fly caught in a cloud of insecticide.

Teen wasted no time firing a massive energy blast, intent on killing Parsley right then and there.

"You demand to know who I am? You, one of many from these callous fools who tread upon the final resting place of so many, dare to demand that I introduce myself?! You believe yourselves to be justified in pointing your weapons and demanding answers from another when you are trespassing on lands you do not belong in?!"

The ground rumbled beneath them as they could begin to hear the faint whispers of the dead as Rex's anger stirred up the residual emotions from the dead.

"I am the ruler of these lands, and I do not recall giving you permission to live, none the less befouling these graves with the stench of your ambitions."
A moment of tense silence passes over the snowy field, and several of the figures slowly reach for their weapons...

Until the voice rises over the silence. "Hold." Without a moment of hesitation, they let their arms fall and step back to give rex room. Slowly, a old man in a wheelchair emerges from his tent, flanked by two more of the cloaked figures. There is clearly a powerful spark of magic within him, perhaps the only thing keeping his old bones in motion.

"Forgive our impertinence, Monach of the Wastes. We are but humble scholars and historians, seeking knowledge of the past....our ignorance of you is but another sign we have much more to learn." The old mand hunched over and folded his hands. "However, I am curious of your words.....you claim no natives live in your realm, but we've been attacked for the last 3 nights by beasts bearing some semblance of your image...we had thought you another until you spoke. Pray, allow us to live a little longer.....I'm sure your as curious of this as I am"

The man snapped his brittle finger, and two figures dragged the carcass of a creature out onto the snowy ground.

"Does this creature mean anything to you, perhaps?"

Back on the kitchen floor, Zaofan's fingers slowly curled and dragged over the ancient tile. As feeling returned to him he felt a tender sensation upon his lips, loaning breath of life and passion, and a pale, meaty ichor that slid straight down his gullet-

    BACON AND SHORTENING?!

With a bloodcurdling scream the chef writhed and kicked ineffectually under Erosa's grasp like a flyweight wrestler pinned to the canvas.

"It's...so...warm..." he hacked as he rolled over on his side, the left side of his face drooping numbly as his tongue lolled out of his face.

"This is the second time you've almost died to Toadian vutter..." Recalling whom she was talking to, she corrected herself, "Erm, I mean, you are the second Zaofan I've encounter who has almost died to it."
"So there was an assigned person who was supposed to give Zaofan these ingredients and warn him over the toxicity of vox dairy," Shōchū began, only to glance around, "Yet this Praxat you mentioned wasn't here when Zaofan discovered the ingredients. Either a case of a misdelivery or irresponsibility," She concluded.

"Even in the flesh, Toadians are always a mystery even though in my time, they are long go--" Realizing it was proper not best to mention what she was about to say to Qaztoh, she trailed off before diverting the conversation, "In my timeline, vox dairy, especially vutter was considered a delicacy popular with risk-takers. Very much like the fugu pufferfish on Earth, humans can... safely ingest it, but only after painstaking preparation by a master chef. Even then, it was still a hazard."
After making sure Zaofan was pumped with enough bacon/shortening to ensure he wouldn't require a wish to get back, Erosa gave the unconcious cook a comforting pat on the head. "Good Cookboy ero.....that's it...."

Despite being relived that her cookman was at least fine for the time being, the subsequent knowledge regarding the Vutter put her immediately back into a bad mood. "Grrrrrr......So it isn't suppose to one of the "good" foods, its like those super spicy or dangerous foods people eat for the challenge. Idiot Praxet should have told sooner. Now Cookman poisoned and Erosa look like food wimp for spitting out."

With a sudden burst of resolution, Erosa place Zaofan on the ground, stood, and matched over to the table where what remained of the container of Vutter lay in all its toxic glory.

"Nobody else will fall prey to this trap Ero." The Id snatched the container once more, and rather then down just a small handful, she let fly the entire remaining contents into her mouth.....immediately snapping it shut as soon as it was all in.

The Id turned, cheeks packed with bitter disgusting Vutter. For a moment she just stood, mouth slowly curving and caving in from the bitterness. She starts shaking, her face sweaty, knees weak, arms heavy, vomit pushing up her throat already...tasting vaguely of spaghetti. Her body starts involuntarily powering up as she attempts to power down the sickening lump of goo. The kitchen trembles, walls crack, cabinets open and spill their contents on the floor, containers go flying.

....and finally, in one hard swift swallow, it was over.

With a triumphant "Ero!" the Id throws the empty container against the floor of the kitchen, cracking the floor open while she lets her mouth hang open to show her victory.

"Ok.....We go beat up Rex now." Erosa walks over and picks up Zaofan, carrying him like a giant sleeping baby in her arms. "Time girl come too if she want help....Let Cookman sleep til we get there Ero."

Sarada herself was nearly thrown to the street below, but managed to catch herself. That was both reckless and stupid, but it caught Lantro off-guard, which was her intent. It wasn't enough to kill him, though.

Good. She would have hated if he went down like a bitch after the first swing.

"A game?!" she spat. "Treason isn't a game, cur. If you lose, you die." She watched him leap into the air, frowning curiously and awaiting his next move. A ki covered meteorite wasn't what she had in mind, nor was his method of firing it at her. As violent a heave as she had ever seen, the "Mega-Dunk" hurtled through the air until it collided with Sarada's katchin hand. She tried to bat it away, but it was too powerful. It exploded on contact, catching her flush and sending her careening to the desolate streets below.

She crash-landed, leaving a crater in her wake. "Ugh." She didn't know what this game was; it seemed he had a very specific thing in mind.

I can win this easily with my trump card, she realized. She still had Hilda's anti-Saiyan toxin loaded into the gas cartridge in her hand. She could have caught him with it right away, but she decided to drag this out a little. She wanted to do what Parsley did to Gangal at the Tournament -- let him get his hopes of defeating the mighty Saiyan Queen up, then stomp them into the dirt.

She rose to her feet, a confident smirk playing on her lips. Her cape was gone, as were the sleeves of the tights under her armor. The armor itself was cracked in several places, but still intact. "If that was your best shot, I actually feel sorry for you." Without further delay, she shot into the air, crimson ki coating her hands and feet. Good. This ultra katchin is as good as advertised!

She could pack even more power into her fists than she ever could with hands of flesh and blood. Rearing back, she unleashed a frenzied volley of ki-enhanced punches in an effort to overwhelm him.

    -----

    Mirror's Edge!

Suddenly, right before Teen's blast struck her, Parsley swapped places with him. The blast hit him an instant later, creating an explosion that not only destroyed the building they were in, but engulfed the entire city and washed over nearly a third of the planet. It seemed that Teen wasn't playing to capture, but to kill.

Parsley was thrown from the building and landed in a heap about a mile from ground zero. "Sarada!!" she shouted into the empty air between herself and the now near-completely destroyed city. She could feel her sister and Lantro still; a sigh of relief escaped her, only to quickly be replaced by a growl of frustration.

Teen was floating in midair. His jacket, shirt, and pant legs were destroyed. Half his torso was slagged and one of his hands was missing. His power, maddeningly, hadn't dropped an ounce. "Interesting," he noted. "I am incapable of mimicking such a technique."

He monotone, matter-of-fact manner of speaking was more infuriating than if he was overconfident despite being treated as a practice dummy. "Hmph. Some machine," she mocked. Her aura flared and she shot forward.

He copied her movements and moved to meet her. They collided again, a hyper-active and violent dance between them. It was unclear who was winning. More often than not, they either blocked or parried the other's blows with near perfect precision. She wondered how much practical training he could have received. Given his naivete and relative innocence, he couldn't have been activated for very long. Not to mention that Tuffles weren't much as far as fighting was concerned.

    Then, she saw it.

He wasn't some fighting savant; he was just copying her motions and adapting them the next instant. He was mirroring her, down to the last detail. Meaning that he couldn't actually fight. He had no intuition and no instinct, only logic. The perfect machine, but a flawed warrior.

    Perfect.

    Perfect Intuition: Wolf's Prowl

Parsley's speed increased threefold, thanks to witnessing her favorite human's flightiness in combat. She danced around Teen's attacks, dipping into his blind spots and tagging him before he could react or think of blocking. The machine never once grunted or showed any signs of fatigue or pain; it was unnerving and gave no indication of how her attacks were faring. However, she could feel his form beginning to crumple under her fists.

She buried her fist into his stomach, then ducked under and behind him to kick him down to the streets below. As he fell, she fired a massive yellow blast that followed him to the desolated ground and exploded.

Teen was engulfed, and the skyline was colored yellow. As the light faded, Parsley waited.

Depending on their age, it may be a bit harder or easier to adapt after the fact. If she was a kid, she'd be of course depressed but she had enough of them that given enough time they could adapt and while the same was true to an extent to all ages, that seemed even more during those times.

" Thanks for telling me that," Qaztoh said. Qaztoh takes out the cookbook from its container and puts it on the kitchen table," I'm going to translate this into English. As for Praxat, she's most likely at Capsule Corp, " Qaztoh said.

Althena arrives on the Lookout and goes into the kitchen to get a quick bite to eat before practicing her telepathy. Althena smells the stench of Vutter. Her reaction to the smell isn't pleasant.

Althena's skin turns a dark purple as she simulates a human holding their nose, " This horrible stench can only be Vutter, " Althena said.

Althena's skin then turns back to its original platinum color with gold spots. Standing before Shōchū was a seven foot six Platinum Toadian wearing ancient-looking clothing. A type of Toadian that was only mentioned in Toadian folklore.

Althena picks up the empty container with the stench of Vutter and puts it in the trash can. Althena then cleans up the mess that's on the kitchen floor.

Meanwhile, on the planet Qacriea. Sraxat gets an important message on her cell phone. The message reads Dear Sraxat, you have been accepted into the Intergalactic Suprema Culinary Academy. We have tasted the samples of your food and found them to be our high standards.

You have one year to prepare for your classes. Also, toxic ingredients are not allowed at the academy, signed Mario Chow Mein , The President of The Intergalactic Suprema Culinary Academy. Sraxat raises her hands in the air after seeing the wonderful news on her cell phone, ( Yes I got in. This is a dream come true.) Sraxat thought.

( My first step in my dream of becoming a renowned master chef!) Sraxat thought.

Cradled in Erosa's grasp, Zaofan smiled weakly to Shochu in a mix of appreciation and confusion. His eyelids were droopy, and a heaviness took his limbs.

The Time Travelle's cure was a potent intervetion for sure, but counteracting poison with a saturation of saturated fats...

The 'itis...I can feel it spreading...

A tiny sizzle sputtered on the back burner, and weakly Zaofan reached a trembling hand into his pocket.

"...bo...jack..." Capsule clouds parted, and laying back in Erosa's arms, a wobbling grip took the end of his trusty katchin staff. "have...to...finish..."

The Zeef stood upon the counter well-seasoned, its sauce quickened with the bloom of alien aromatics. Despite his current condition, there was something that pricked against the forefront of his mind.

    Didn't...preheat...oven...~!

" Informing Praxat to inform the person she was going to give The Zeef Roast recipe to about Vutter," Qaztoh said. Qaztoh takes out the Cookbook from the container, and looks through it." There's a variety of recipes here. However, the most important thing is this book." Qaztoh said.

"List which recipes use toxic ingredients and which ones use no toxic ingredients," Qaztoh said.
Grasping the end of the bostaff, Zaofan's grip steadied. There was but also steadfast determination, and a valiant resolve to finish his work.

White ki struck out over the end of the staff, and swiped over countertop, sending the meat sailing straight into the pot. Even from this distance, Zaofan pointed his staff at the stove, and his ki fell gently over it. Suddenly, in a fiery burst, the burner shot from a low trickle, to overtaking the stovetop entirely and leapt to the ceiling!

This was no mere flambe, however, for the pot over the fire was merely the medium, carrying the message of the chef's very soul; that even if he didn't have the right tools, the proper prep, or even the firsthand knowledge, he would take the food and the ingredients he had and make it work.

Fight for Food Integrity...Fresh...is Always Better!

Because that's what good cooks do!

(And of course, on the downswing, he twist the stove off; he wouldn't leave the kitchen with a running burner, that was simply irresponsible.)

Grinning in his stupor, his staff dragged upon the ground as Erosa carried him out and he fell unconscious.

But when the fire cooled, Qaztoh would be the first Toadian ever to taste a brand new Zeef Roast unlike any before.

"Don't flatter yourself! I was never apart of your blood soaked kingdom. Didn't stop me from seeing all the atrocities a Saiyan could commit!" He gritted his teeth. He couldn't keep on tanning hits forever. He raised two fingers into the air. "Nega-Dunk!"

Suddenly a chunk of earth, shaped like a sphere emerged from the ground, covered in ki and launching itself at Sarada.

Samson looks stronger, fitter, with a bit more fire in his eyes and energy.
When Samson drew them in, Zaofan reciprocated, small tears of joy at the corners of his eyes as he embraced the Dragon Master as he cheered; Ochazuke stooped and leaned in, resistant, his expression after his usual manner as he muttered quietly.

"It feels like it's been forever," Zaofan laughed, "and look at you! Somebody's been doing some serious training! Marron! What've you been feeding this guy?"

Parting from the embrace, Ochazuke crossed through the living area, solemnly finding a spot near the window, folding his arms and looking out across the horizon, his thoughts seemingly miles away. Every moment we spend idling...the enemy continues to watch and prepare...

"Speaking of which, that's part of the reason why we're late. My bad, I know." Thankfully he had somebody with him who knew how to be prepared. With a burst, Zaofan threw open a Capsule to reveal a large spread. Rouge crab carapaces stood steaming atop a bed of noodles, and glistening vegetables of the season - well, at least one leafy green, stir-fried with water chestnuts and carrots - lined a pan, leading to the capstone of four fresh flounders, served whole and covered with a hot mix of ginger, garlic and red chillis spread atop bright green peppercorns. "Marron! Hey! Where are you!" The chef roamed around the flat as he called after her. After all, he promised lunch and he delivered.

Approaching Samson, Ochazuke looked him over. Only two years ago, what Battersea had held over him made him a hollow shell of a man. Now he had returned to throwing himself behind the practice in full, and it was with a certain awe he saw the devotion Balon had taken into his role as Master.

"Your ki has increased substantially," he said, "it is no trifle to bear the mantle of a Dragon." A fact he and Zaofan knew all too well.

Yet between the scramble to save this universe and all of Time itself, Ochazuke found little rest. Between the looming threats from above and in-between, the need to be vigilant was, in sharp contrast to their sensei's rejuvenation, wearing upon him, and all the while he was aware of how little time they had to prepare against the rush of ancient eons.

Fearing that the encounter with the Doctor may have been their last fight, he had left the testaments of Zxu'ro at the Balon Homestead. The Master of Masters had measures of his legacy preserved with greater integrity in alternate universes come to ruin. How ironic that ours that has strayed from his path the most. The scrolls of the Genki methodology he knew Samson would preserve, but there was something else of a more immediate interest to all of them, and it had passed from the hand of his own Double from the first Alternate Timeline.

"That map I gave you, were you able glean any information from it?"

Marron walks down, laughing. Her ki has also increased.

“Better food than those Turtle Monks ate. Rice and Fish are nice, but not every day. Hello Ochazuke, Hello Zaofan.”

    Samson meanwhile nods.

“I have, and I have located both remaining Shrines.”
