Sarada rolled her eyes. "Come on, Eva. It doesn't take much brain power to tell your mate that one of the people he's working with might be running an illegal cloning lab somewhere." She shook her head. "Fine. Since Cyanna ran off like a baby, consider this dropped." She sat back down and continued to wait.

The verbal back and forth happened quickly and suddenly; by the time it had concluded the other young woman had ran off in a huff. Aleka choose not to comment at the given moment since she didn't fully know what was going on, but the gist didn't sound that great. Something else to poke a few brains about later. What she didn't expect for Cyanna to suddenly scream loud enough to shatter glass.

Her hearing was sharper then a normal human's but not to a insane degree thankfully. All and all, and in short and as expected it hurt like a bitch. She winced, covering her long ears a bit. "Geez gods woman. Remind me to be careful around them at karaoke night."

Kaarine frowned slightly at this. "You all right? They didn't rupture anything? I heard Acorians hearing is better then normal people."

In response, Aleka waved it off. "I'll live. If this was enough to knock me on my ass I'd be in a world of hurt." It didn't mean it didn't sting and there was a slight ringing like little men were having a concert in her head, but nothing she couldn't soldier though. She wasn't a believer in ignoring things until your body fell apart, just in this case nothing in her mind was too serious.

"If you're certain, then I'll drop it." Was the simple reply.

Still, while they waited and the matter for the moment had been dealt with Aleka decided to ask Sarada something. "Have you decided if you're going with a cybernetic arm route or try to get it regrown if you have a choice?" The little bit she heard, Sarada was perfectly fine with the former.

“I really should call Char and get her opinion. She’s much better at cybernetics then me.”

"Not necessary." Karine managed to squeak. Aleka chuckled, she was too easy to give a hard time but it was all in good fun, she never really stepped over the line but that line was different for everyone after getting to know them a bit.

Especially..." the Arcosian continue,d his tone changing from jovial to one that was dead serious. "...in regards to cloning technology. Now, I'm not so unreasonable. I'll offer you a chance to explain yourself. Quickly perhaps, in the event that the the machine's beeping doesn't set off some itchy trigger fingers."

Not far away, Cyanna and Charco just appeared looking for Eva. It was then she overheard Jinzi and became confused and concerned. "Brother Jinzi, did Meagan tell you about her? Didn't everyone tell you about Gero? No one knows mechanical stuff better than you, that's what Meagan says."

She looks at her watch.
