Default DC's answers to Adamantium, Vibranium, and other substances?

What are DC's exclusive and unique fictional substances?

Does it have anything as useful as adamantium or vibranium? Substances that are used across different franchises by different people?

If so, what are they, and who uses them in the DCU?

If not, we should offer up some suggestions, as long as they can used technically by multiple franchises.

Pretty sure Amazonium and Supermanium existed way before Adamantium and Vibranium.

The smallest bit of tenth metal alone is a billion times more powerful than adamantium or vibranium

When Marv Wolfman came to DC, he instituted a number of DC-analogues to Marvel.

So, "Avengers Assemble!" became "Titans Together!"

For metals, he started using the real metal Molybdenum and then Promethium (although Marvel also has its own version of Promethium).

Here's a handy wiki list of all objects that exist in the DC Universe including elements:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...tural_elements

    To continue the tangent:
Other things Wolfman did to bring the Marvel shared universe idea more fully to DC: He also started using STAR Labs in New Teen Titans -- the first use outside of its native Superman comics. From there, it began to be used across DC and in numerous DC adaptations in the mass media beginning with 1990s Flash series.

He started using King Faraday as a Nick Fury spy type guy. Although Faraday was first, he had not been used for decades before Wolfman brought him back.

Wolfman? Yeah, I heard about that boy. He wrote something about parallel universes dying or something like that.

Back on topic, yeah. There is the promethium and the kryptonite and the nth metal, but I also would add the element X (now the tenth metal) from the New Gods and the inertron, a metal very used in the Legion books. Or the suspendium, from the Shazam books.

There was also Marvelium that only Capt. Marvel (Shazam now) could mold and shape.

There are 2 versions of Promethium. Promethium is a metal/element that is used as a power source and depleted Promethium which is used to make a super strong armor.

There is also one in the future Legion of Superheroes where it took the combined strength of Superboy and Mon-El to open a thin sheet of it but I can't remember the name right now.

DC's answers to Adamantium, Vibranium, and other substances?

Clearlly DC's answer is and has always been the original; The proverbial MAN OF STEEL himself.

Can Wolverman cut him? Yeah likely superficially, enough to sever an arm, limb, or artery, or penetrate his chest ? No!
Not before he grabs him and crushes him into a ball of crumpled flesh and metal bones. LOL

Or as mentioned above, if you prefer Wonder Woman's (Amazonium) Bracelets , the only things that can shatter them are magical in nature.
So pretty much with superior speed, and strength, she blocks! Kicks him in the gut exploding his innards, then yanks his skeleton out of his corps LOL!

Sorry Wolvermean DC had the answer before you existed.
