She's always been Asian since she showed up in this new Valiant Universe. In the old V1 stuff the male Dr. M was married to a person of color, but this is a different universe.

Okay in the 80s/90s Doctor Mirage was a man who turned ghost like, but everyone could see him, just not touch him. His wife was a woman, from Brazil (if I recall right, could be wrong), who was a fighter and really kicked butt.

When Valiant started again, a new Doctor Mirage showed up, in this new reboot she was a woman who lost her husband and they use to have a TV show together. She finds her husband's ghost and only she can see him.

In the old one he was an Asian man, I'm this new one she is an Asian woman and her husband is also Asian.
