I doubt Rosenberg would miss the chance of making him the main baddie of Scott's return to the fold.

Rosenberg was reading Gillen's run, that has a really heavy Sinister presence. So I guess Sinister showing up seems likely.

I would prefer neither, but I'll take the impersonated/mind controlled one. Even though the Jessica Jones series just showed that Emma can easily fight off mind control that neither Jessica or Luke Cage had any hope against.

Sinister's a petty troll. It would be entirely in-character for him to make Emma watch while he's trying to have his way with Scott via Fakemma.

Logan is probably more mad at the fact Scott didn't go all the way with him.

In all seriousness though, Rosenberg probably just wanted Logan away for a last minute rescue and thought this would be a feasible explanation enough to have him away from the team. I feel the explanation for everything is going to be disappointing. Hope I'm wrong.
