To be fair, it's clear something is going on there. They don't even know why they are there.

That's a good point. Given that they are likely all being mind screwed in some way, some quirkiness and OOC moments could be forgiven.

I'm still worried for Emma's portrayal at this point. Seems like she may be setting something up. Also, seems as if Logan is being setup for a last minute rescue of the team somewhere down the line.

It only makes sense if it's a supervillain plot. Or Rosenberg is making Emma into one.
