Hope influencing the team or Rosenberg is running fast with the plot because of Hickman arriving, so he has less time to develop conflicts

Both are legit possibilities. It's just that Hope is in crazy grief mode over Cable's death and Sinister is kinda super good at resurrecting/cloning people. Heck, we routinely get alliances/relationships built on lamer set-ups.

Yeah, let's think this through for a second: imagine if a man wanted to rape his ex-wife with whom he has a kid, and does so by drugging her and pretending to be her current partner. This would be a traumatic event that would cause upheaval with comic readers and not just them. However, since the genders were reversed and the ex-wife is hot, then it's no big deal.

If an old double standard that happens very often in comics sadly, Nightwing, Wolverine, Batman, Green Arrow and probably few more went through the same.

hmm hot very hot. also I can’t handle Logan complaining about all his students being dead when he was screwing around at a bar, ignoring them. And everyone talking about the dead but not actually....acting like they lost people is so jarring and it really makes me think everyone’s coming back by the time Rosencanny is over.

One can have agency and be a hero (or anti-hero) and an X-man. Being a villain is pure character regression because she was that way when the writers and editors were growing up.

1. Yes, but she didn't make Emma watch. That last part's the important bit. Also, I'm kinda totally aware of the ugly implications of that scene and the mind-numbing double standard.
2. Maddie is one of the very few people Sinister actually likes. He'd borrow/tweak one of her ideas and not feel too bad about it.

The Marauders are back. Claims they did not touch the Morlocks. If that's true, Sunspot was mentioned to be in the sewers, and we still haven't gotten the Uncanny WoR portion. So it's possible Rosenberg is writing Creed re-massacring the Morlocks. Sunspot may have defeated him & decided to stay down there for a bit to protect them. Hence is seemingly deceased status with staying off the map. Or *laughs*, he really did get killed in the battle. I doubt it.

Then again, Chamber was down in the sewers too, so you'd think he knew what happened. So he'd know if the Marauders were guilty or not, and he seems pretty pissed. Unless it's not the Morlocks, but they took Shogo or something.

This is the issue with releasing stuff out of order. Chances are the WoR stuff has some possibly crucial info in it since it takes place between issue events in 15 & 16. Yet we can't even see what it is until we're on issue 18, ready for 19. With the last part of the ite-in coming between issues 20-21.

Yeah, and is really indicative of the state of comics, or fiction in general, that a character is raped and is no big deal, because it's a man and the lady raping him was hot. Indeed, is not even brought up again.

But people would say he was okay with the kinky sex because it was Emma.

Back in Japan, Mystique was disguised as Yukio, is explicity stated that he wouldn't have done that if he knew that it was her, so yeah..., he probably doesn't know about it though, i'm not sure if he ever found out about his ruse.
