- He provided a dialogue rewrite of Spider-Man, primarily focusing on Peter and MJ's relationship.
- He was the main screenwriter for Spider-Man 2, creating a screenplay from the story by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Michael Chabon, in collaboration with Sam Raimi.
- He co-wrote Spider-Man 3 with Sam Raimi and Ivan Raimi.
- He's also credited as one of the writers of The Amazing Spider-Man. For all the concerns about that film (much of which came down to the editing), I don't recall any criticism that the writing felt too old.
It's impressive how late in life he accomplished much of this.
It's difficult to untangle his exact contributions, but getting a good screenplay out of multiple different story ideas for Spider-Man 2 seems to be all him.
