Godzilla seems too big and too tough. Maybe Cap Marvel can something?

Have doubts if even she can
    spoilers:
there's one point in the trailer where you see a flaming meteor falling through the clouds. Well that's Godzilla, who Ghidorah flies up into the upper atmosphere and lets fall. It doesn't work.
    end of spoilers

though simply pointing herself in one direction and flying at near if not past lightspeed would likely still trump that feat

Would not work, when they go faster than light in the MCU they seem to jump into another dimension like most Sci Fi. The only SF on film I know of that goes FTL in normal space is Star Trek.

you forget Warhammer 40k as Science Fiction that has both jumping to Parallel Universe and one that goes FTL in normal universe when it come to Faster-than-light stuff
whatever Scientists tells us what they believes are the only things that exists in Reality(our world), they treats what US government and mainstream news media said about things like 9/11, CO2 Emissions, and so on as their gospel

calling Real Life Martial Artists that can break walls "Comic Book Peak Human" is like calling Pre-new52!Cassandra Cain "Shounen Manga character"

I was not aware that 40k is on film. Regardless when someone goes FTL in SF chances are at least 95% they are doing it via another dimension like hyperspace or the warp.

Holy crap. I just slowed the scene in question down. If you squint then YUP. There it is, clear as day.

This movie is going to be bonkers

It would go beyond bonkers and into the realm of Gurren Lagann levels of awesome if Rodan flew him up there and threw him at Gidorah for a atomic headbutt... with a Mothra jetpack.

That aside, there's pym particles in the Ant/Giantman suit aren't there?

FWIW, Captain Marvel actually has no feats of creating a portal anywhere, but her powers come from an experiment to use the Space Stone to power a first of its kind actual FTL engine.

Also, add Superman and Dragonball as universes with FTL spaceships.

Oh God, don’t bring up that stupidity. Going FTL through hyperspace warp whatever is still FTL. Stupid writers.

There is a significant difference between being able to travel along a network and being able to go straight from Point A to Point B, especially if you don't live near the portal network or want to hide from people who have access to that network.

Or want to smash a planet with a rock traveling at FTL.

A portal network to enter hyperspace is what was seen in Babylon 5 with their clearly visible star gates. In the MCU we have seen nothing like that.

As for the second part that is only speculation. Even when an FTL drive goes through normal space there is something about that lessens or negates mass or inertia so it does not require infinite power and does not endanger nearby planets. AAMOF the only time I know of where such a thing was done was in the Lensman series where they used an extra dimensional planet to wipe out a nigh invincible solar system. Even then they were a little concerned about destroying the universe.

When Ronan escapes Captain Marvel he refers to it as a "jump point" indicating a specific portal space.

In Guardians 2 Yondu and Rocket have to go through multiple "warp points" or "jump points" to get to Ego. Not just one. Indicating a network of connected portals that need to be traversed like roads across the galaxy complete with on/off ramps.

Jump points sound like natural phenomena to me. A portal network is constructed. There is no reason to believe you cannot get where you want to go with current MCU FTL. The new FTL in CM must logically be different and someway better. It could be faster or more energy efficient or something else but at this point we don’t know. If only the writers had enough sense to say Marvell was working on a better or different FTL drive we would not be having this discussion.
