Yeah but Red Hood Outlaw made made a quite sudden jump in sales, in March it sold only 18,389 copies.
Not sure what was going on there.

Btw. I realised there is big discrepancy between Catwomans physical and digital sales. The physical numbers are really good, but in this week charts of Comixology Catwoman is only on 26th place. I guess thats due to the Artgem Cavers.

It’s official, Ric is a hit. The people on Nightwing should be proud. Their new innovating ideas, their efforts to recruit new and fresh talent, their hard work to listen and reward the books readers. It’s all paying off...not .

You can joke about that, but the book is still around the 25K mark (+/-a few hundred) each month (at the moment).

Which is shit, and supported by variants. And now Nightwing is ranking under both Batgirl and Red Hood, that’s not good.

It wasn't a push that came from the variant alone. I mean, I cannot say it for sure, but in the case of RHATO, I don't see that variant cover selling 6k by itself (Yasmine Putri's didn't* added 6k, as far as I recall. And she's a bigger name, I think). My best guess is that it was the product of a few things working towards selling better (event, variant, new arc, whatever). I don't know about Batgirl.

I'm really surprised that Detective Comics #1000 still sells 45,737 in April.

In the case of Batgirl, it is almost sure the variant covers increases the sales at some level.

Batgirl usually had variant covers by Joshua Middleton and the sales are 29K-30K. In March, Batgirl #33 hasn't a variant cover by Joshua Middleton and its sales fall to 24K.

In April, Batgirl #34 has a variant cover by Joshua Middleton again and its sales increase to 28K.

You're not the only one. I don't know either, but, well, people have different tastes, I suppose.

HAHA! So it does get lower! I hope they keep this up... or down.
Now to await what DC will do.

I was very surprised by Detective Comics #1,000, so did a quick check on Diamond, but they also show it significantly lower than 'Tec #1001/2. How very strange.
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"

"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"

"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."

Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!

April is the second month for Detective Comics #1000. In March, Detective Comics #1000 sold 526,941.

The surprising is Detective Comics #1000 still sells 45,737 in April.

That means the shops still need a lot of copies to sell.
