Spider-Man didn’t quite off-panel. In fact, he had been with the team at the start of it and was one of the frozen Avengers who was brought in at the start. Why they just left him out of the final battle though is a mystery and a bit of a pet peeve of mine.
Also, he and Nadia resolved their animosity just before the Worlds Collide crossover with the Champions, bonding over their mutual love of science and were even seen hanging out together at the start of that arc.
I think he would have his pick of a lot of people. He has worked with pretty much everybody.
If it happened today.
Muscle Luke Cage Wonder man
Flyers Johnny Storm Jessica Jones
Stealth DareDevil
Science guy Spidey who also gives you a second stealth guy
or just make a team from his next high School reunion
Spidey
Black Cat
Jessica Jones
Agent Venom
maybe Harry using Goblin tech for good.
Silk
Golden Child
I seriously would love a team of just Spider people and friends of Spider-Man. Though I imagine writing stories for them would be hard.
perhaps he would lead a revived web warriors but that would mean working with teens mostly rather than his colleagues.

I imagine him inviting people he trusts like Daredevil, Human Torch and Dr Strange. He also teamed up with She Hulk a few times.
Probably heroes that inspire him. Cap? Reed?
From the New Avengers, SWoman and Cage seemed the closest to him. Logan too - but not so sure he would condone having a killer on his team.
A good Spider-Man cartoon could comprise of:
The Black Widow
Jessica Drew
Julia Carpenter
Spider-Man
Daredevil
This would be a team that would get along with Spidey very well. Especially Jessica Drew and Julia Carpenter since they got to really know Peter Parker. They could convince The Black Widow to join because they can honestly say that Spidey isn't an annoying pest as some make him out to be.
