    Errr, no?

Do you think people invest million of dollars "on a whim"?

Meh, doubtful. And on the very slim chance this somehow prevented another movie getting made, it probably wasn't going to be any better than this movie. I just don't think a random movie like this is ever going to deprive us of some great cinematic masterpiece.

On the whim of the studio heads who have a personal interest in one movie idea over another and will choose to spend the money on that idea and drop the other.

I can't cite specific examples right now but I've read articles where a producer for a studio is developing a movie and for whatever reason is fired or replaced at the studio and suddenly that studio is no longer making that movie. Sometimes due to the bad 'stink' of the ex-producer/studio head and the new guy/girl has their own pet project they want to push forward.

I'm still waiting for my sequel of The Rocketeer.

I actually think this could be good, especially with modern CGI. I do wonder if they will be able to entice Rick Moranis out of retirement for a cameo, or if they'll do the Indiana Jones 4 route and just have a picture of him.

I was actually all for it till I saw that part.

Josh Gad reminds me, and I'm guessing Hollywood, of a young Jack Black. I'm talking manic, "that's how I roll" (Anchorman) Jack Black. Hollywood inexplicably wants to recapture that with Gad.

Rick was just standing there. Guy walks up to him then punches him in head knocking him out then just walks away! What on earth!

    Prey rick gets well.

I'm actually cool with this, spoilers:
considering Marcia Strassman. I wasn't very thrilled with Eve Gordon, anyway.
    end of spoilers

But this is about the extent of what I'm cool with. I'd prefer this not happen.

Josh Gad is manic? Who knew? He always seems extremely tame to me.

I hope they find the guy. That's just ridiculous. But to show just how beloved Rick is he's getting lots of well wishes from around the world.

He's very soft spoken (I often even have trouble hearing him in interviews). He's Olaf. He's Book of Mormon. He's reading bedtime stories to kids on YouTube. I like him, but probably because he's the opposite of manic.

Congrats. I don't. His presence in Pixels made an otherwise enjoyable movie excruciating. That bull ish performance there is what I'm talking about. You don't agree then you don't agree, I'm not interested in convincing you, I'd rather talk about Rick Moranis, which is why my subsequent post was about that.
