Any story with a resurrected Kraven is a by default a "disappointment."

It's not Spencer's fault of course, but imo Kraven should have never been brought back in the first place and every time I read a story about him now it just makes me wish I was reading KLH instead. Nothing can ever top that, and his death should never have been undone.

I agree completely with everything you've stated from it isn't Spencer's fault (the fan service alone in this series is something to cheer about), to nothing involving Kraven can likely ever top KLH, to Kraven should never have been resurrected.

Just read the last issue. Yeah, it's quite disappointing. I find it too overdrawn with nothing truly worthwile happening yet. Mostly though I just find it boring and the voice for Peter isn't great.
