OP - Yes it has been, very much so. Granted, KLH is one hell of a measuring stick.

Any story with a resurrected Kraven is a by default a "disappointment."
It's not Spencer's fault of course, but imo Kraven should have never been brought back in the first place and every time I read a story about him now it just makes me wish I was reading KLH instead. Nothing can ever top that, and his death should never have been undone.

From what I've read it's felt like Slott-style event. That's neither good or bad, just a vibe.

Just read the last issue. Yeah, it's quite disappointing. I find it too overdrawn with nothing truly worthwile happening yet. Mostly though I just find it boring and the voice for Peter isn't great.
