I don't quite think that's it because they had a Marvel One-Shot for Legacy already. They've had longer gaps before.

It feels, instead, that this is part of their strategy to bring back older writers and artists.

Can Brevoort please defeat Starlin in armed combat with those Thanos spinny swords and make him do a Warlock one-shot? All of my demands are so reasonable.

It depends on whether Starlin is still pissed off because Marvel decided to care more about their ongoing Thanos story rather than his Graphic Novel they let him write to keep him happy.

Don't worry. As soon as Marvel decides to give them some MCU exposure, probably through Disney+ all things considered, we'll get them as kids again. Got to have that synergy.

Considering that young children have the tendency to age visibly it's far more likely that any show/movie produced as part of a shared universe will introduce them as older youths. 13-20 years old rather than 4-12. Unless they want to swap out actors every season anyway.

Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

That was a pretty bad story arc not going to lie.

Eh, make it animated and you won't really need to worry. Or pull a Stranger Things and then worry later.
