I do have to say, Cap saying Assemble was an incredible payoff moment for me.

That...Is ridiculous. For starters, canon has only existed for one decade.

Yup, obviously the portal scene through Avengers Assemble is THE moment but everything with Tony and his daughter (including his final message to her) was just note perfect, as was the cheeseburgers scene with her and Happy. But honestly, this film had so, so many terrific moments that it's hard not to just list them all.

I don't care. That was when i had the most fun in the film. It was teased as far as Age of Ultron. I think they could have done a better job to explain how he was worthy this time, when he only 'imperceptibly' moved it then. My idea was that he was always close to being worthy. More so then any of his teammates.

It works for me. Being 'worthy' is quite vague imo. If it means being ready to lay down one's life for others without hesitation as in 1st Thor, when Thor walks upto the Destroyer, Cap also walks upto Thanos and his army afterwards. Even with a broken shield. If it means character, how can one even measure that?

    Eh, comics count as inspiration

Show me where Thor and Cap differ to an unconscionable degree then?

Know what? You not liking what someone enjoyed in no way invalidates them enjoying it. This thread is about what people thought was the best moment of Endagme. Start your own for what you think is the most defensibly reasonable.

Thor cutting off Thanos' head. I wish we could have just rolled credits there.

I liked Captain Marvel finding Tony and when she came and almost took out Thanos' entire entourage but the plot had to stop her so the movie could continue!

Obviously, many moments. Stark's death, Natasha's death are up there. Cap going back in time and dancing with Peggy Carter while that song plays was a fantastic way to end it. But, for me, the winner is: Mjolnir flying into Cap's hands and him wielding it in battle.
    Power with Girl is better.

Odin enchanted the hammer with the whole "if ye be worthy" thing in 2011 (i.e. the first Thor movie).

Well obviously that means we have to consider whether the “morals” of Odin in 2011 are the same as Cap in 1945...or 2023...or whenever.

Why not just call “worthy” a cup, and many things can fill that cup?

Anyways, OT: Wanda kicking some ASS.

Goosebumps moment was when the portals opened and Avengers Assemble.
