This book is so dark and I kind of like it. I do think most of the deaths will be reversed (that they weren't real and Emma is behind something). I hope so at least. I think Emma is faking mutants deaths and she's keeping them safe or putting them to some use. Leave it to Emma Frost to save the mutants.

Doesn't seem too far-fetched. They/Cap did take all of those villains the X-Men had captured.

Polaris was a bit of a focal point during Disassembled (battling Magneto head on was quite a sight IMO) and has been in Prisoner X. Seems to have been planned from the beginning.

She doesn't have to be enrolled in a school to be a student. Teacher and student can be roles outside of a school setting. Banshee was acting as the teacher there secondly she is a member of generation x she's listed as one on anniversary issues to trading cards. Its also clear from subsequent stories thst Emma considered her a student of hers from the necrosha story.
Thirdly the premise of your question is debunked with Emma having a kind and meaningful interaction with Jubilee in Wolverine and Jubilee

You're splitting extreme hairs here. She was in a death battle for mutant survival alongside Monet, Synch, Skin, Husk, Banshee, and Emma. The Phalanx even call her a member of Gen X in that silly way 90s comics love to throw the series name in.
