LOL of course the go to's (proto FF) Challengers, Cap's Kooky Quartet, and Ninja Turtles taken!

I'll go with an all female quartet.
Sorry Birds of Prey I'm going with...

The H4H Daughters of the Dragon

Probably not the most popular incarnation of them, back 2015 I even imagined a fan cast for them (and a Sons of the Tiger crossover) TV series.
I really liked these four together.

Of the wonderful things that you get out of life there are four.
And they may not be many but nobody needs any more.
Of the many facts making the list of life,
    Truth takes the lead.
And to relax knowing the gist of life,
    it's truth you need.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

DC had a few series that featured explorer/adventurer-quartets (and prior to the FF's debut). There were the Challs (already noted earlier); and here's another example, the Sea Devils.
Love those Russ Heath covers with the Jack Adler color washes.

    ETA:
The Sea Devils, who debuted in mid -1960 (so, about a year before the FF) included a male leader...a big strong guy...the leader's girlfriend...and her kid brother

Oh, dear! Seems I misread the rules! Bummer! Okay, how about THIS fabulous foursome, as drawn by Jack Kirby instead:
