what happens to Hulk/Bruce

in between the end of the 2014 series issue 16 and Totally Awesome Hulk? It's weird to see the end of that, where Betty apologizes for shooting Bruce and they kiss and Bruce is like, wait what? and then to find out issue 1 of TAH that he's underground? Seemed like an awkward transition.

Yeah, the Secret Wars aftermath had an eight month time skip, and in that time Doc Green went away, and then Amadeus did the gamma drain, supposedly curing Bruce (we later learn that he wasn't cured, of course) and making himself the Hulk instead.
