We don't know yet. Unless someone has read the issue this early in Comixology and cares to share.

His fate is debatable in WoR since we haven't gotten the issues yet. He'll be in WoR Uncanny X-Men 3, which means we have to wait another month to see what happens to him. If he's really dead, only thought to be dead while keeping a low profile, or something they want us to debate for a few books.

Someone said Rosenberg mentioned that one character's fate would be called into question.

Well, this issue just threw my “some people know Sunspot’s alive but are keeping it secret” theory on the highway. So from this issue’s reveal, I guess we can expect a trifecta of death and suffering in the next issue. Which would, again, prove that they’ll all come back at the end of all this.
