They're not going to hook up Logan and Monet. Monet is a female telepath, and judging by the covers, will be in a book with Cyclops. What happened to every female telepath shortly after they joined the same book as Scott? Jean, Betsy, Maddie, Emma, you just know it's inevitable. It's a rite of passage.

Monet hasn’t shown the same level as the other telepaths though......when she can pull off half the feats that Jean (both Adult and teenage), Betsy, Emma, Rachel have, come back and talk to me.......

Also, as much crap Cyclops gets half the time, I think he has some scruples......I just don’t see him dating some that much older than Kid Cable, Jubilee, Illyana, Kitty, or Rachel when she first appeared......he turned down the Time Displaced Jean for instance.......so he has some sense.....

I’m intrigued by this Weapon Plus one-shot, and especially the timing of it. Does it factor into Hickman’s plans in some way?

We know Hickman is writing the flagship. We just don't know the title yet. Ideally, it should be Uncanny. But it could just as easily be New X-Men. I am tempted to toss adjectiveless into the mix. Although, I think that may eventually come in one of the subsequent "waves" being mentioned in interviews.

So that's one book. But what about the rest? Well, given the fact the X-Office is planning multiple waves of titles, the smart decision would be launching a few satellite titles alongside the flagship. But knowing Marvel, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a crap load on the way.

Rosenberg will still be around. Given the fact he has done stuff with the cast from both New Mutants and X-Factor, I could see him launching either one of them. He might even end up getting both.

Like Rosenberg, I think Brisson may end up on another X-title. It may be another relaunch of X-Force. Not sure about that one.

I can also see Next Gen being a successor to Generation X. So that could also happen.

We know discussions have taken place concerning an Excalibur revival with Jim Zub in the mix. Which would be logical since Moira is featured heavily in previews of HOX/POX.

As for the rest? No idea. But I am hoping to be surprised.

I agree, I'd much rather Jean, Emma, Ororo, Scott, and Erik all get to have a voice in decision-making. The X-Men have too many leaders for them to be unified under just one unless it's Xavier. And no one wants that.

Exactly. I like the council approach. And when it comes to that selection of characters in particular there's so much shared history and so many interesting character dynamics to make use of. I'd fully expect Logan on that council though. Probably Hank. And ideally Dani, Betsy & Rogue. I recall Exodus & Callisto being mentioned many moons ago for an X-Council too, as representatives for other mutant factions. I'd die if that concept became a reality.

That doesn't surprise me given that X-Tremists Blob initially looked a lot like White. Mustache and all. As much as the pairing has been interesting, I would hope Betsy wouldn't get weighed down (no pun intended) with Dukes, who's been only an antagonist up until this point, and has had little to offer as characterised in the 616. If not Warren then I'd sooner see Betsy with Shiro or someone over on Excalibur (Black Knight perhaps)

it most likely will be the former. I think Hickman's doing away with the Blue/Gold way of handling things. hopefully that means they can get the fancy chairs again

I think we're going to be looking at an 'X-Men World' much like the 'Avengers World' concept Hickman came up with. A wide and extensive cast that caters to many strengths. And yes, fancy chairs again please.

I stg, I still don't understand how in the hell Logan has managed to entice so many women. Please no more. I'm personally hoping for him & Mariko to get back together now they're both in the world of the living. Hopefully Hickman steers clear of the bizarre love square that is Logan/Scott/Jean/Emma. It's been done, and I'd hate for his book to just derail into shipping wars.

It was just a joke, of course. Monet's age wouldn't be much of a problem, but rather the fact she was Emma's student for so long. Also, teenage Jean was a minor, Scott wouldn't have any interest in her anyway.
