    Default Story Recuts

After you have read a story, do you go back and decide which individual issues do not help the story, take them out, just to have the story flow better at a better pace?

When it comes to big events, absolutely. Although, the TPB collections are generally a good indicator of which stories were actually necessary to begin with, even if it takes them a few kicks at the can before they get it right (looking at you Final Crisis).

Sometimes, I am taking out entire scenes. My head canon editor is ruthless sometimes.
