    Chip and Dale were around long before rescue rangers. Saying the animators own then is like saying a comicbook writer who does a run on an existing character should now own that character and get compensated. Did Millar get payed when they made a civil war movie? Serious question I have no idea.

    If they do not pull a Super Mario Bros or a Sonic piece of turd out of it, this might be actually good.

    Original voices or not, it comes down to writing and concept. I did enjoy the series too, but the live action remakes give characters names, but otherwise bare no resemblance to the characters we knew and loved. So I'm only approaching this hesitantly at best.
