"AiPT!: MagnetoRocks (@MagnetoRocks) highlighted the fact that you’ve said Magneto is your favorite X-Character. What is it about the character that appeals to you most?

Jonathan: That with each passing day he’s, more and more, ideologically ‘of the times.’"

That might be true, but I use comics as escapism. If it completely reflects the crap I see going on in current politics, I'm not interested in wallowing in the same during my leisure time.

Jonathan: "I assume this is based on me posting on Twitter that my Top 5 X-Men are:

    Magneto
    White Queen
    Mister Sinister
    Monet
    (Tie) Sunspot and Cannonball"

Not to suggest that everyone listed is in the same vein, but I'm really sick of the whole anti-hero vibe. I'm starting to lose my "excitement" for this change. I'm still trying to be optimistic, but someone who puts Emma up there at the top, unless it's to think she is a better villain than an X-Man, does not interest me. In fact, most of the characters on that list have egos the size of Texas, not surprising.

I'd like to hope that there will be a new Excalibur out of this reboot and that Storm has her own book or moves out of the X-books altogether so I can leave the antihero stuff for people who like it.

Lol remember that time Emma tried to give Monet the bad touch in the back of a limo with her mind powers and Monet smashed her face up? I hope we see more of those interactions in HoX<3

That was the M-Twins. The "real" Monet wasn't around until issue 40 on GenX.

Honestly, I wish we could see them again. They gotta be much stronger no as teens..

Well, you seem to think that if a writer is a fan of a character you don't like, they'll crap all over every other character so...

So which writers post-Morrison were Emma "stans"? I'm gonna love to hear this.

That was even worse. Hopeless didn't had a bit of empathy for Jean, he is another Emma's stan

So it is official... any writer that writes Emma positively is a "stan". Your bias could not be more clear. Especially considering Hopless's favorite two characters (by his own admission) are Jessica Drew... and Jean Grey.

No, he said on twitter his favorite is Emma Frost. if he said Jean grey he meant the teenage, because the adult he wrote her like ****.
Having Emma taking jabs (unjustified) at Jean was painful and revolting
