Maybe it'll be one of those things that happen at the end of the movie, like Bond using his name catchphrase at the end of Casino Royale, or Captain Kirk getting the yellow uniform in Star Trek...or to use a more recent video game adaptation example, Lara getting her twin pistols at the end of the reboot.

They were contemporaries with this franchise. So it would be cool if this film finally gets released.

I'd be happy if Jak and Daxter gets one too. It was one of my favorite franchises as a kid. It's essentially Star Wars if Luke becomes Wolverine.

Hope we get a God of war film at some point. Would be insanely expensive so I assume they need some wins before they would green light that. Go back and tell the original story but with the level of of story telling that was lacking until the most recent game.

In the midst of Hollywood’s never ending goal to eradicate Red Heads from fiction I can take solace in the fact that people would probably riot if they didn’t get a red haired Aloy in a Horizon movie or series. Though Horizon is honestly one of several PlayStation franchises that could easily have something just set in the same universe but with original characters. Same goes for Detroit: Become Human.

Merle Dandridge will reprise her video game role of Marlene for the Last of Us show.


Makes sense, considering the video game version closely resembles her actual likeness, while Joel doesn't look a thing like Troy Baker and young Ellie looks more like Ellen/Elliot Page and is much younger than Ashley Johnson (Ashley's likeness is definitely present in the sequel though.)

I won't lie, I forgot that this whole thing even existed. And I don't mean just the Twisted Metal show, but the whole "PlayStation Productions" thing.

Anyways, I'm not sure how to feel about this. I mean yeah, you can't do Twisted Metal right and it not be some form of comedy, that's just the nature of the franchise, but all this talk about only the comedy aspect has me worried that the action might not be so good. That's arguably more important than the comedy, or at least equal to.

Jak and Daxter is getting an adaptation from the guy who did Uncharted and Venom. It could be their Star Wars if they play their cards right.

I'm just hoping it leads to a new game.
