I'd rather it be a movie.

I prefer a TV show as it will give more time for character development and growth. A TV show probably won't have the budget to have Kratos fight against a giant size foe but that's a sacrifice I can deal with.

My only concern is if they can do the action justice.

I wonder if they'd jump to Asgard or adapt the original games.

I'd like a Parasite Eve movie, and a film series of Dino Crisis movies.

Horizon would be better off as a film due to it's scale. If Sony remembers that it owns Syphon Filter that could make for good series of espionage films to rival Mission Impossible and Bourne.

Couldn't find the standard HBO Last of Us thread so I'm bumping this. Any thoughts on the show? Looks like Troy Baker is playing David, which is kind of fitting since the character was more or less the darker counterpart to Joel in the game (Also kind of funny because Nolan North-better known as Nathan Drake in Uncharted was David in the game, and Troy played Nathan Drake's brother in the last two Uncharted); and Ashley Johnson will play Ellie's mother.

God of War 2018 could go either way but Ragnarok has to be a tv show.

2018's plot has smaller stakes and a more relaxed atmosphere. So its easier to cut out the side content. Whereas Ragnarok is the end of the 9 realms and feels more involved. You could mind 2-3 years at the minimum from that game.

But a new plot set after the Norse Saga would be ideal. Gaming isn't known for plotting so doing a new plot would be better like what the MCU does.
