I can't remember exactly, but it's from The Weaponer arc, which ranged issues between from 53-57.

That's what I thought from the Tyler Kirkham art. Looking forward to reading that story buy I don't own the complete arc yet. So waiting until I have the whole set.

It's a pretty good story

One thing I liked about Robert Venditti was that every character had a moment to shine and get focused on. You hardly ever see that with other writers, who write GLC books.

It's tough pleasing all the big 4 fanbases I think he did a pretty good job with all 4 of them

That's awesome.
I gave up on Green Lantern when Geoff Johns left. I had had my fill of the Rainbow Corps and the never ending event leading into event leading to a crossover etc.
Kyle (Ron Marz) made me love Green Lantern again. Green Lantern Crops Recharge is STILL one of the best GL stories written.
I loved the way Kyle and Guy bounced off one another. It was a great dynamic that was unfortunately tossed aside when the GLC ongoing title began.

EVS is a really good talented artist. I know a lot of fans criticizes on the way Kyle's mask is drawn from some artists, but EVS did a fantastic job drawing out his mask.
