I'm curious as to where this goes as both have some fairly impressive feats. I'd probably lean toward Akuma though.

Akuma shoryuken's asteroids out of the sky and saves earth. He might be a bit too much.

Which version of Akuma? Because if you include DLC Akuma, the entire cast of Gundam isn't going to stop him...

If you're talking about the Asura's Wrath DLC version well that's decidedly not canon, so it wouldn't be the first choice.

Ditto the one that takes out asteroids or fights Galactus in crossover games .

Also, he didn't exactly blow up the island so much as set off the volcano that formed the island, as shown by the fact that lava was gushing everywhere and the island didn't just explode all at once.

In canon, I think the most impressive things Akuma has done was split Ayers Rock and lift that Submarine. Unless I'm forgetting something.

He sank an island with an incomplete move(the punch-ground-shit-explodes one, Kongou-something?) That's the best he's got. Of course as Oni(who more or less is Akuma after losing his marbles...) he does have the no-selling a volcanic eruption after causing it feat, but since its a one-time only feat IMHO its SMvsFL at this point.

Akuma definitely has it in strength. But I feel that's ALL he has over Master Asia. What is Akuma's best speed feat? Asia blitzed Domon Kashu, who was able to catch machine fun fire with his bare hands, and casually at that.

Also, Akuma's durability needs to be questioned. It goes without saying that Asia is strong himself, being able to dismantle Gundam units with his own strength. If/When he lands a strike on Akuma, he could just as easily knock his head off.

Plus, if we're talking about Game Akuma with no life bar.. :P
