Default Age of X-Man: The Amazing Nightcrawler #4 (spoilers/discussion)

Enormous, all-caps, 72pt Oh Em Gee!

The Cuckoos orchestrating it all - in multiple cycles before, no less - is the best "the center cannot hold" reveal we've had in this event so far. It's fabulous - bitter, tragic, and leaves me curious about who it was that fell in love in the previous rounds of manipulation. Also, I couldn't help but grin at Kurt and Meggan arguing over child-appropriate viewing while being just a bit wtf?! over the film they were watching.

Love it. I want McGuire on a post AoXM X-Book sooooo bad right now.

Looks like the "big" lady isn't Thumbelina, but rather Briquette. Love that she's getting used again.

“...Oh. You really weren’t acting.” Chills.

So seems like Nate has his own secret Cabal, higher up than even Department X.

Sorry for the retroactively Thumbelina-less issues

Using Meggan's empathic shapeshifting like this was a great choice

If you read the book, you will know they aren't the same

I feel that Hellion would have a role in "Flatscan Zombie Beach Party"
Captain, in Order to build a better world, sometimes means tearing the old one down... And that makes enemies.

You see more of her costume in this issue and it does resemble Briquette's more. It's them thigh highs.

It's okay! I was worried it'd be a brand new character, but I love both Thumbelina and Briquette.

Good point. That was probably one of Regan's productions. Seems like Kurt's studio does propaganda films, while Lady Mastermind's is more exploitation flicks.

That Star Trek film from Alpha and the Streets of Rage one from #1 didn't seem like propaganda ones but they most likely made the one with Colossus in X-Tracts.
