"It is wrong to assume that art needs the spectator in order to be. The film runs on without any eyes. The spectator cannot exist without it. It ensures his existence." -- James Douglas Morrison

Enigmatic Undead, because it felt like the ending would never come.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Honorable Mention to KIrby101
Spike-X for that great cover.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
Last change, kids. Vote in the next three minutes and I will count you.
I will vote for Tami 'cuz of the title's reminding me of the end of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, also titled Tempest.
With a single vote, we have...
Enigmatic Undead, foxley, Javasaurus, kjn, Speed Force League Unlimited, SquirrelMan and Tami
With a brace of vote apiece, we have ...
Güicho, Stony
Kirby 101 had three votes
Greg Hatcher takes the penultimate Silver at 4 votes
And our new winner with FIVE votes and a very nice cover,
Spike X!
Gah! I missed the vote
Yay Spike-X!
Congratulations Spike-X! And thanks for the vote, SquirrelMan!
It's interesting how the winner and runner-up are so similar in composition, but carry such different emotional beats and overall feeling.
