I feel like I missed an issue. Where did Damian first get the impression that Jason was spoilers:
    Leviathan?
    end of spoilers

He came to Batman with his suspicions in the Year of the Villain teaser.

I really enjoyed the latest issue and the "Sherlock Society" forming - even if I think Green Arrow is a little out of place amongst the detectives. But he's a mortal, which suits the line up for the story.

I've read the Action issue, Year of the Villain Special, and all the Leviathan titles so far, but don't have a clear idea of who I think is Leviathan... yet.

What I'm also interested in is how the DCU rebuilds its espionage orgs after this and if there's any place in them for Amanda Waller, Steve Trevor, and Sam Lane.

I'd also loving it if King Faraday returned.

Thought I was the only one clamoring for Faraday to return.

Whatever happened with Sarge Steel? Has he been reintroduced in this universe?

I enjoyed it too and the art is really fantastic.

I'm going to keep making the same complaint about "DC's greatest detectives" though...

PLASTIC MAN IS NOT ELONGATED MAN!

I can definitely agree with that one.

Is he part of the Detective Society, or just part of the story itself?

From what I've seen? The former.

Bendis has named Plastic Man as one of DC's greatest detectives repeatedly in interviews. Elongated Man was absolutely one of DC's greatest detectives but Plastic Man was never a detective at all. Apparently Bendis thinks they're interchangeable.

I don't have a problem with Bendis otherwise and I've liked his DC work so far but, as a Ralph Dibny fan, this drives me up a wall.

    Yup. Me too.
When Ralph and Sue made their appearances in Secret Six a while back, I was hoping they might be folded back into the DCU. No such luck.
And while Plas CAN be played serious, and not always as the comic relief - he IS NOT, and NEVER HAS BEEN a detective in any way, shape or form!!

I definitely thought of the Elongated Man mix-up as well.

It's killing me as well. He had the Kingdom Come Dr. Faye act really out of character too, but I kind of like an interpretation I read where that version of Kent is all mystical and majestic until he makes a mistake and then just drops the facade and is full-tilt panicking. It's funny, but jarring.

This snub of Ralph, though. Editors been sleeping.

Bendis seems to want Plas in this story because of his checkered past and how Leviathan wants to connect to him because they seem to share this in common. It remains to be seen just how much that will impact this story in the long run.

But yeah, Ralph should be part of this too - not like you can't have two stretchy people in the same story.
