I have to go with 1998. Morrison on JLA, Waid on Flash and Impulse, Marz on Green Lantern, Jurgens and Kesel on the Super books, Moench and Dixon on the Bat books, Dixon on Green Arrow, Robinson on Starman, David on Aquaman and Supergirl. DC was firing on all cylinders.

My pick would be 1990. They were releasing Bugs Bunny comics.
    Just a fun year.

    I would say 1983 also.
Add in The Legion of Super-Heroes and the Fury of Firestorm.
