    Default PREVIEW: Drifter #1

Ivan Brandon (Wolverine, Men of War) and Nic Klein (Captain America, Thor) team up for DRIFTER, an all-new science fiction series from Image Comics coming in November 2014.
Mankind's colonization of the galaxy has left countless planets mined bare and lifeless. A space transport crashes onto a backwater world whose unique properties set the stage for a story that combines the dark wonder of a strange and alien landscape with the struggles of an abandoned and lawless frontier town.

This looks excellent. The art on that last page is just stunning.

Beautiful art indeed...the lettering isn't the easiest on the eyes though. Either way, I will be picking it up!

I'm up for it. Lawless frontier towns provide plenty of avenues for exploration. Image is really upping the ante lately.

    Klein's artwork is stunning.

Art looks alright (though that fourth page has my mind drifting to Tatoonie).

I dunno, could be good. Not really familiar with the writer to know whether this will be good or not.

That variant cover is much better than the normal cover. Still would like to see what the Chiang variant looks like...

I like them all so far. My favorite is the regular cover for issue 2 though. Really awesome.

Oooooh, that's nice. Thanks for the heads up, have to go tell my comic shop. The regular cover blows.

Totally agree there, issue 2 is where it is at for cover art.
Epic things: "TOPANGA" (GHA), Jaxson & Zefferson (PRO), Lucas (SHEL)
